  • Did not fit 6Qt
I have a Presto model 0126410, which calls for sealing ring 09936. The description clearly states that it "Corresponds to 09936". It did not fit, so don't be fooled.

  • Don't be tempted by the two for one offer get the Presto part!
Nothing but months of frustration. I thought that my pressure cooker had become damaged and needed service. They may look like the original Presto part but they do not create the same seal. Not worth the price or the headache. Buy the original Presto part. You have been warned.

  • Bad buy in my case
They sold a 8 quart pressure cooker then had the these seals did not fit. So upset. I am not the type of person to return things it costs more. Just wasted money here. Caution!! Make sure it fits to the correct pressure cooker. The ring I needed and reordered us 11 inch ring. These small ones for a 6 quart pressure cooker. ... show more

  • Unexpected benefit
I have a Magafesa pressure cooker. Sort of over-the-top valve design, but it works well. I noticed the silicone gasket appeared kind of soft and flimsy, and sure enough after a few months it started to rip. Knowing that manufacturer sites are usually expensive, I looked everywhere else, including Amazon. None available. Went to Magafesa, and the price was about $25. Uh huh. Went to order anyway, but "Out Of Stock". Aargh. Started looking for a gasket by size, and noticed that the Presto gasket was the same inner and outer diameter. Not sure about the thickness, but since it was about $6 for two, I ordered just to see. When they arrived I saw they were much too thin. But then I realized they were about half the thickness of the original, so I tried installing both of them together. They fit perfectly, and they work just fine. So anyone with a Magafesa pressure cooker, here is your gasket solution. Looks like they will last much longer than the original. (I'm sure they work fine in a Presto cooker too.) ... show more

  • Replacement sealing ring for 6 qt. Presto Pressure cooker too large for pressure cooker.
The sealing ring for my 5 year old Presto Pressure cooker wore out and needed replacement. I checked first with the manufacturer for replacement parts. Manufacturer said this part is no longer available. I searched for the part for this model at Amazon and found a sealing ring for 6 qt. Presto pressure cooker. Unfortunately it was too large. The two safety plugs included in the package fit, but the pressure cooker is useless for its purpose without the sealing ring. It worked fine for 5 years with the original parts. Amazon refunded my money. ... show more

  • Presto pressure cooker
I’ve had a pressure cooker for over 30 years and it was a mirror pressure cooker and was having problems finding parts for it. So, I decided to get another pressure cooker and one I loved that one but, one evening my husband ran to the restroom to get something and gone less than a minute which is all it takes. He was heating some grease in our skillet and it caught fire well, I had put my pressure cooker over there that afternoon to put up and hadn’t done it yet. My husband grabbed the lid to try to snuff out the flames on the skillet but, then the fire flared up and caught the Microwave above the skillet and needless to say I lost my Microwave and my lid fighting the fire. So, my husband got a earful for leaving the kitchen with a skillet heating grease. Of course I’ve done things to so, I’m not guiltless by any means. ... show more

  • A snug fit for Presto model 0134108
Gasket is too thin and too large a diameter to fit an older model Presto 9.5in cooker. Also the expansion plug has no hole to fit the metal plunger. But, if you have the newer one like my model 0134108 with a lid lock that releases when the pressure subsides, these gaskets are extremely snug both around the periphery of the lid as well as the top of the pot and provide a very good seal. When inserting the gasket at first it may seem too big in diameter, but just keep pushing. ... show more

  • Fits my pressure cooker
Have a mirromatic 394 4 qt that I forgot I had on the stove. 45 minutes later the gasket was charcoal. Fortunately I was only heating water and the lid was not sealed, nevertheless the damage was done. The old gasket always fit poorly and leaked water from the sides because it was a garage sale find. After the incident I looked at pressure cooker places. Several were out of stock and the rest didn't ship internationally. found one that did ship internationally but shipping alone was $ 95 No way going that route. After three days of looking in amazon found this gasket, and by the measurements given thought it might fit my cooker so I took a chance and ordered it. The dimensions of 9 1/2 inches fit exactly to my mirro 394 but it's thinner than the original. Tried it last night and despite being thinner, it did hold pressure perfectly and with no leaks from the sides as before. So, if you have one mirro 394 you can be sure it will fit. I do recommend it and seems to be of good quality. Very happy (and lucky) customer ... show more
