Look at these pictures -- I mean, really LOOK at these pictures! Do you have any idea how old that blender and that food processor are and how long I've been wrestling with the cords on those things? Let's put it this way -- it's been DECADES. That blender started its life making margaritas for young marrieds like the hubby and me, and now it makes hummus and protein drinks for old people (like hubby and me). That food processor was a Christmas gift in 1982 for my first apartment, and I'll tell you, that sucker has seen some culinary nightmares. Both of these appliances are among my kitchen favorites, but I have to tell you, their cords have also been a galloping pain in the backside all the years, especially the one on the food processor. I've always had to put a rubber band around the coiled up cord, because it's really stiff and didn't want to be wrapped around itself. The blender's cord sort of gets wrapped around the base, but it doesn't always stay put, so when we take it out of the cupboard, it unravels and gets in the way of things. BUT NO MORE! Somebody with a brilliant mind has come up with these incredible self-stick cord holders, and holy moly, but do they work! They're not stiff plastic but kind of rubbery, and you can wrap those cords up easy as pie. They have the capacity to handle longer cords than you see here, too. Even the stiff, unwieldly cord on the Cuisinart is no match for these holders. It yields immediately and stays in place when the plug is put into the notch in the middle. Take that! The 3M adhesive on the back is strong as all-get-out, and once I put them on my appliances, those cord holders stayed put. They're going to last as long as these appliances do, and I fully expect my Cuisinart to last another 38 years. I'm not so sure about the blender lasting 38 years -- we've worked that thing HARD over the years, but the cord holder will unquestionably be on there when it goes to its final reward. Seriously, these cord holders are a revelation, and I can see me telling my grandchildren (if I EVER get some -- you know who I'm talking to!) that Granny lived in the days before they existed. Their little eyes will widen at my tales of trying to get the cords to stayed wrapped around the blender's base or the Cuisinart cord's battle with the rubber bands. They'll be amazed that people ever lived so primitively. BUY THESE THINGS -- NOW! ... show more

I saw this and thought, brilliant. So I got it and put one on my mixer, one on my blender, one on my food processor and one on my rice cooker. At least one of those is not redundant. And now my shelf is neat. I'll update if they start popping off or anything but they felt solid. I'd buy them again and will if I need more. ... show more

These are 95% perfect. To be clear, I haven’t used my crock pot or instant pot with these yet, so I don’t know how well it will stay put when they’re heated up. However, they are working very well so far, and I don’t see any risk of that with my stand mixer. (UPDATE: I’ve since used my InstantPot and it held up just fine!) The 5% that could be better is the flexibility of the center cord hole that is meant to house the last bit before the plug. For 2/3 of my appliances it’s just fine, but for my dummy thicc InstantPot cord, it is quite the chore to try and force it in. If the material was slightly more flexible, or the hole was larger, it wouldn’t be so difficult to wrestle it in. I can’t figure out how to say all that without the obvious innuendo, lol ... show more

I attached one to my toaster and my kitchen aid mixer. The center where the cord wraps around could be a little larger. The kitchen aid cord is thicker and is a bit more difficult to wrap. It works a little better with the thinner toaster cord. The plug holder works good, I found pushing down on the "wings" opens it up a little and makes it easy to secure the plug. I will use the extras on other appliances as needed. ... show more

This worker treated for my smaller appliances but not bigger ones like my kitchen aide. Unfortunately the bigger appliances with thicker/rounder cords tony fit in the slot for the end of the cord. I also wish then middle wasn’t rounded but more oval. Something to think about for future products. Overall great price for what you get and simple organization! ... show more
