I've been able to use mine for approximately 12 hours on the lowest setting consistently and somewhere between 5½ -6 hours on the highest setting. New Year's Day it was about 35 degrees, I used them on Low for the 7-8 hours that I was outside and they kept my hands warm. At the end of the day the battery charge still showed 2 red lights, so it only used about 1/3 of the charge. Low was plenty warm enough for me, no need to use the Medium or High settings.
