This is a great value and works great! I tried to use the garlic peeler and it didn’t work, of course, I didn’t read the instructions. Cut off both ends of the garlic clove and put in the peeler, roll in between your hands or fingers and it works like a charm. I needed two as I wanted one for our house and one for the farm. It works better than a traditional garlic press. It cleans easily. I usually hand wash, but can be put in the dishwasher.

I almost sent this back. I thought it didn’t work. So I was pushing down on the garlic clove as hard as I could, and all it did was smash the garlic clove, and a very little was minced. Then I got the grand idea of using a garlic clove that is frozen. that didn’t work much better until I got the brilliant idea to rock it back-and-forth. Well duh! That’s what they’re shaped like. So I rocked it back-and-forth and voilà! Perfectly minced clove of garlic. As long as you do it right I think it works great! Since my hands can’t squish the regular garlic press this works better for me.

The green peeler didn't work not one bit even after I cut the ends off of the garlic clove. As for the mincer, it smashed it into a pulp. So it kind of worked. In the end the garlic can be used. It is just juicy though.

Do not waste your money or time. I bought two as a gift, different vendor. Used one and thought these are pretty cool. Liked it better than my garlic press, which does a fine job but I hate cleaning them. I ended up giving it to my sister. Ordered two more different brand, thought they all look the same. I wanted to order one for my sister-in-law. Now I am totally embarrassed I went to use it tonight and could not get it to mince the garlic. It was so dull....didn't work at all. I already gave her hers so now I'm just throwing mine away because its worthless.
