I frequently make molds from silicone and up until now been using foam core and hot glue. I saw these modular mold walls and thought I might as well give it a shot. I glued my parts to a piece of flat plastic and used a generous bead of hot glue to seal the walls to the plastic box floor. It worked out perfectly. The walls themselves are flexible but sturdy. Silicone RTV usually doesn’t stick to anything but itself so I neglected to use a mold release. I noticed one area that the silicone wanted to stick to. Next time a quick spray with mold release will prevent this. I will keep using these. I only wish they came in larger sizes.

These are very soft silicone pieces with small connection points and are hard to fit together. I didn't try using them, and once I realized they were silicone, I wasn't going to waste silicone to make a mold and have it stick. Silicone will stick to silicon! I sent them back and ordered a set of the Lets Resin mold pieces, as I know those will work. I needed more pieces than what came in the set and thought I could use these with my Let's Resin set. They do not match, and I sent them back. Don't waste your time. Just order the other set or two if you need to make larger molds.

Thankfully I had binder clips on hand, because the 24 that were supposed to come with the kit were missing.

It's silicone which is easy to clean and work with. For everything it comes with very worth the price. Easy to assemble in many different ways and sizes. I've used it multiple times and it worked perfectly. Just remember to hot glue it at the bottom edge and tape the bottom to avoid spillage.

The sticky tape does not seal the mold at all and allows a lot of material to escape. Once it finally dried, the mold would not come of of the acrylic. It tore into smaller pieces with a bulk still stuck. No way to even attempt to use it again.
