I am using these fans to provide air circulation around plant starting shelving units. I had a bit of a problem with damping off with my emerging seedlings last year and know that a bit of air flow can help prevent that condition. I have used a floor fan in the past but it provides a constant speed. I have set this fan unit up in manual setting using the variable fan mode which fluctuates the speeds which I believe better mimics natural wind to the young seedlings. The fans are easy to set up and can be fixed or oscillating. If you have a closed environment such as a grow tent, the humidity and temperature trigger can help keep the conditions perfect for your growing needs. The fan heads are small but they move quite a bit of air. I wish the U-channel clips were a bit larger to more easily fit my shelving uprights but the flexibility of these lightweight unit allow for multiple connection points depending on your particular circumstances.

These fans are good for what they are intended for. Provide some wind across. your plants when it gets too humid. I was hoping to use them in a server rack to keep airflow going across my electronics but they are too loud for that, will have to use them as intended across my plants. These fans are well built and have some good features. The second fan plugs into the first fan, and the first fan is plugged into a wall outlet (via usb-c). They both oscillate, and there are 3 speed settings. Personally, I couldn't get my fan speed to change but the oscillation worked ok. Another feature I like is the included sensor that you plug in and can have it sense temperature/humidity away from the fans. One thing I wish these fans had was the ability to use the temperature to turn on/off the fans. As it is, the fans are activated only by the humidity level you set. Oh well. All in all, a good set of fans for what they were designed for. I wish they were quieter and I wash they were temperature controlled. Price-wise I think maybe a slight expensive, but they are a quality set and have good features. Recommend.

LIKES: Best fans yet-really easy to set up and program, have 4 intensity settings including an occilating setting that rotates between all of the intensities, cords are very long to allow for good separation of the two fans, the up-down rotation setting allows more air circulation and reduces the chance you will damage one plant in the way. DISLIKES: none to report. HOW USING: I have these set up on our orchid tower. The area is 5’X4’X4’ with dozens of plants. These fans are awesome for it because I can now circulate air all over the area rather than just blowing it across one row of plants. RECOMMENDATION: Yes. This is a wonderful addition to my plants. All of the movement increases the air circulation without needing very strong wind that could cause damage to the closest plants. If you have a favorite planting area in your house then these are for you.

The grow tent fans are nice and compact, they fit well inside my smaller grow tent and produce an abundance of air for being on the smaller side. I got these to help with humidity and mold growing on seedlings. They are working out very well for me and are good quality. I run these about half the day and have noticed results, no more mold. I would recommend highly. Thank you!

The oscillation feature started failing within a day. It catches and moves in a jittery fashion. If the oscillator gets stuck then this could be a safety hazard. This is unfortunate because the oscillator is very important to my situation. I attempted to lubricate the pivot point with non-flammable lubricants, but this proved to be a temporary solution. The fans themselves are surprisingly strong for how Tiny they are. These would be perfect for a 2x2 tent. I was going to use them in my vegetation room to cover several trays of seedlings on a wire rack. The lowest setting is plenty strong for my seedlings and the high setting and natural wind setting is great for other plants. Unfortunately without the oscillation feature, I can only cover 2 shelves of seedlings. The temperature and humidity settings work as they should but I don’t really use it because I found that my exhaust fan is a better option for temp and humidity control. The fan resets when unplugged, so a timer would not work for this. ***Main fan has a blue light that must be covered for light sensitive plants dark period***

It's nice that they are chainable together, but would be nicer if they were 2 inches bigger. They move more air than you would expect, though. Decent for the price.
