This worked well for when I needed to lift the ride-on to get a tangled mess of a piece of field fencing out from under it. It took a bit of time to put it together the first time, but it's nice to have available to work on the mower. Nice and sturdy, too.

I was unable to use this because all the videos I’ve seen show it lifting using the floating deck, not something I’m willing to do. Lifting it using the frame didn’t lift it high enough.

    • Sturdy, Functional and a Simper version of the New Jungle Jim:
Purchased this jack for my Bad Boy Maverick. It's heavy duty, very stable, simple to operate and has bearings in the wheels which are sturdy. Lifting the Maverick is a breeze. This is basically a version of the original Jungle Jim Jack. I really wanted to buy American Made but the updated Jungle Jim Jack now has a fancy twist mechanism on the handle and additional springs which really aren't necessary. I would have been happy to pay more for American Made if I could have purchased the Original Jungle Jim which is simpler. ... show more

I recently went complete out on my own at my mowing business and stopped subcontracting. In turn I lost my place to store and work on my equipment that had some nice items that made servicing it all a bit easier. Amongst them was the jungle Jim's jungle jack. I was a bit shocked at the price of these in general for what they actually are. But not wanting to spend over $250 on the original jungle jack, this popped up while looking for an alternative. After pretty easy assembly which only left a few unusable parts (the plastic washers for the wheels are impossible to fit on to them as per the diagram/, not enough space, but they appear unnecessary), this thing was off and running. Picks up my exmark Lazer z 60" rider and my 48" turf tracers with the same ease as the jungle jack did. I obviously can't speak to longevity, but it seems well built and is made of quality materials. I only need it once a week to sharpen blades and scrape the decks and after a month it's holding up well. ... show more

Awesome unit. Would purchase again. Works just like the others and a little cheaper. Mower stays steady and even has a safety mechanism. Lifted my gravely proturn 148 in like 2 seconds. Doesn’t take much effort. The size is perfect for keeping on your trailer without taking up a lot of room.
