these are fine at full brightness and the fact that you can change the color tone with the light switch is nice. They however flicker randomly when dimmed even with LED dimmers. If you are looking especially for the dimming these aren't what you want.

I bought these and returned them for another brand. The main issue is that the mounting system does not get the fixture flush to ceiling and does not have a way to level the fixture with the plane of the ceiling. This results in a gap that allows insects and air to come from the attic and a crooked look to the ceiling. The secondary issue is the method to select light color. Instead of having a hard switch like other fixtures to select color, there is a sequence of light switch flips. This sequence can occur by accident when turning on and off the light, resulting in the need to pull out the manual and reprogram the color again. The first picture is the mounting system for this product. It is a metal bar you mount to the ceiling. You then slide the fixture on it and push in the plastic tabs into holes on the opposite ends. There is about a 1/8" gap to the ceiling when the fixture is mounted - no way to get it closer. The plastic tabs allow the fixture to rotate on the axis of the metal bar, making it impossible to get the fixture level to the ceiling. The second picture is the mounting for a competitor I ended up using. The round mounting bracket is screwed to the electrical box. The fixture is screwed onto it like a light bulb - turning clockwise until the fixture is pulled to the ceiling. This product is a poor design that leaves a gap for air/insects from the attic, makes it difficult to mount and difficult to make it look level. ... show more

After installing the fixture, it does not allow permanent selection of light hue, you will need to "scroll" thru each of three different light hues to obtain the color light you wish for the room. Each time to enter the room and turn on the light, it may or may not be the light you wish. Very frustrating. I would not purchase again. ... show more
