I bought 2 BOTKU LIFEPO4 12.8V 10AH 128WH for my Cyberpower cp1500pfclcd. Wanted to see if LIFEPO4 battery would work. I fully charged the batteries on a separate charger to 13.5v (at rest). Ran the UPS at about 100W and it lasted 110 minutes until shutdown - 11.5v at rest (Meaning ~5% power left in the batteries). I let the UPS fully charge them and it stopped at 13.0v. Good to AGM but not high enough for LIFEPO4. Less than 40% of the capacity. I put the same load on and only got 15-16 minutes run time (when charged by the UPS). Cyberpower website say that I should get 66 minutes on AGM with 100watt load. The LIFEPO4 batteries worked well. Basically twice the run time of an AGM. Probably great news for many other uses. Its my UPS that is not compatible. I gambled it could be a replacement. Was wrong. But great batteries. Update a week later: good news. After letting the LIFEPO4 battery in the UPS a few days, the residual voltage began to climb by about 0.1V per day, to stabilize at 13.5V. Well, at that voltage level, the LIFEPO4 is fully charged. Ran for 100 minutes with ~100watt load. Will the trickle charge of the UPS eventually damage the battery? Time will tell. Even if life cycles are cut in half, or the reserve is reduced, is still better/cheaper than AGM type. And the UPS cuts off while the battery still has a 5-10% left due to the difference in voltage between AGM and lifepo4. This is good as the BMS does not lock the battery for being too discharged.

30a Battery worked great until it was time to recharge it. Will not recharge. Tried to return through amazon but was told i could not, had to go through seller. Could not find way to contact seller, so went to leave 1-star review and the "contact seller" button came up. "Chat with seller" sent me to amazon customer service. Was able to get a refund. (Maybe, its pending). Was told i could do whatever i wanted w it. So I opened the top and low and behold the low temp sensor wasn't connected. Small wire and poor solder.

I have owned 2 of these to use in an old fish finder for ice fishing. They cut the weight in half and last for days on the ice. I have the other one away, but then decided I needed another one. Far superior to lead. I used this with my flasher for a 3 day ice fishing trip and did not have to recharge even once. It also seems less affected by the cold when fishing outside then the old lead one did.

Just a warning. The 30Ah batteries that I bought (and it looks like the 20Ah ones are the same height in the description) batteries are just SLIGHTLY taller than a 12v 17Ah SLA battery. The description shows that now, but I'm 90% sure I checked before I ordered them and it showed the same exact size size as a 12v 17Ah SLA battery. I could have just looked at too many batteries and made that mistake on my own so I'm not saying the description was changed, but I want to point it out for anyone reading this and thinking of buying these. It's not an issue if you're aware of it and plan for it. If you put two of these into an old APC SU1400 UPS, you're going to have to bend the tabs inside the UPS. I have them in there right now. I have no idea if I can ever get these batteries back out. Also note that if you decide to try these in an old APC UPS, the battery terminals are different (obviously) and the fuse that came with the UPS won't fit standing up. It hits the circuit board in the back. Also, if you buy automotive "bolt-on" fuses that LOOK like they'll fit, they are too short as the fuse is 1.61" in overall length, not between the center of the holes. That's exactly what all the descriptions for the fuses show, I was just "hoping" it'd fit. I just "trimmed" the fuse with wire cutters, but that's a hack and would most likely overhead if used anywhere near the fuse rating. I bought an 80A fuse instead of the 100A that came with the UPS, , due to the battery rating,but I bet the batteries would shut down before that was needed (I hope). With full load on my UPS and reading the current between the batteries (where the fuse would go) I read just over 8 amps, so I don't expect to draw too much current for these batteries. I have no idea if the UPS will draw the batteries down too far to not come back up without applying outside voltage to them, but I'm hoping the UPS will shut down and stop drawing anything from them before that happens. We'll see. Note that the batteries say 40A continuous draw and 80A for 3 seconds, but the "user manual" that came with them says 30A continuous draw with 60A for 3 seconds. I have no idea which is correct and I didn't test it. It doesn't matter for my application, but just something to be aware of. Oh, also note that MANY people online say not to put LFP batteries in a UPS looking for SLA batteries, so do that at your own risk. These will never be 100% charged by the UPS and that's fine with me. I'm planning on longer run time (I haven't test it yet to see how long I get) and the most important thing is not to have to replace the batteries every 2-5 years. SLAs always seem to die when you need them and I have hope these LFPs won't. Even if they do die in a few years, they were only about $20 more than a replacement set of SLAs for me.

Purchased these to power our solar powered front security gate. I was a little apprehensive that these little batteries wired in series for 24 VDC would have enough energy to power our gate. But after installation and running the gate quite a few times to set everything up they worked without a hitch. And now that the gate is installed and operational we haven't had any problems at all.

They claim you can use a regular charger. I recommend if you do to have a timer in it so it chargets on long cycle of 6 hours then several short cycles of 1 hour. Still it's better to use a LIPO CHARGER. They are lighter than lead acid batteries and good for 6 to 10 times the number if charge cycles (3000 to 5000) and no memory so keep them charged if you are using them, 75% charge if in storage.
