I am slowly building a decent home gym and these weights with their very affordable price have helped quite a bit. They weigh pretty close to the advertised weight and seem to be very sturdy for now. They do smell very bad out of the box, I left mine outside for a few days before bringing them in to get rid of the smell. I would recommend also cleaning them with soapy water because they’re kind of oily when they arrive.

They are perfect. Great size, perfect bumper weights. They do have a smell when you get them. People say they smell like cigarette smoke. That's because of the melting and molding process. It makes them smells bad. Just air them out for 24 - 48hrs. They'll be right as rain and ready to use.

These plates are exactly what is advertised. A Mid tier plate and often less than $1 per lbs. the smell described by others is true but gone after an overnight in the garage, nothing compared to stall mats. These are not Rogue or Rep bumpers, and at the price you shouldn’t expect it but they perform well above their cost and will do well for probably 90% of home gym folks. While I use my gear I don’t abuse it so YMMV.

Two things right away. First - the confusion about whether this truly is a pair of plates. Yes you get two plates. Second - the smell. These give a very strong order for several days after first opened. I would recommend putting them in a garage or on a patio for at least a week before you bring them indoors. Other than that they're a great price. They have showed zero issues in regular use after several months and I would definitely buy them again.

Signature Fitness is an interesting company. They offer very good prices, but you should understand that you are gambling a bit when you order from them. Let me explain... At the same time that I ordered this colored bumper plate set, I also ordered a power cage from Signature Fitness. It shipped without any hardware (no bolts, no nuts, no washers, etc.). Amazon made it right, but that was a headache for me. Fortunately, all of my weights arrived in great shape. I was not missing any weights, and the condition was quite good. This is despite the fact that they were shipped in what I can best characterize as slightly-thicker-than-pizza-boxes cardboard. But nevertheless, they were undamaged, and I got every plate that was ordered! Hooray!! Honestly, the weights are BEAUTIFUL. I use them 3x per week for a variety of lifts (squats, bench press, deadlift, etc.). I have no issues with these weights, and they were a tremendous value compared to other companies selling them for twice as much. I will also add: I am very glad I switched from my old cast iron weights to bumper plates. Colored bumper plates are INFINITELY better! I can do deadlifts without worrying about damaging my floor or the weights. If I could get the same experience as last time, I would 100% order these weights again. And I might do that in the future once I max out my current set.

These weights are the correct weight, but we got the 10 lbs weight and they are large. They did have a rubber smell for a couple of days, but that went away. Make sure you are looking for large weights as the 10 lbs weights are much larger than a normal 25 lbs weight.
