  • Flotation Foam is a polyurethane 2 part foam that, when mixed in equal parts and poured in place this foam will soundproof, insulate, or provide extra buoyancy.
  • This expandable foam is recommended for void filling in nonstructural applications. It can be poured underneath decks and inside cavities where a lightweight flotation foam is needed to provide buoyancy.
  • 2# Density polyurethane flotation Foam 2 Gallon Kit; Consists of 1 gallon of Part A and 1 gallon of Part B and produces 10 cubic feet.
  • Once fully cured this foam can be laminated over with any type of polyester, epoxy or vinyl ester resin without melting.
  • All expansion rates and times given are temperature critical. Temperatures below 75 F will lower the expansion rate therefore requiring more foam. Ideal working temperature is 75 to 80 F or above. Accurate measuring of these products is extremely critical. Working time before foaming: approx. 45 seconds Time before full expansion: approx. 5 minutes

The media could not be loaded. 16 oz of part A and 16oz of part B will yield 1 cubic foot of foam. Mix fast as you have 30-45 seconds to mix before it starts to grow. Works great in cardboard forms be sure to reinforce large ones at the top so they don’t bulge. It shapes real easy if needs to be trimmed. ... show more

    • This pour foam works great.
I would recommend this pour foam to anyone replacing their boats foam. This was my first time using pour foam and I can recommend a few things. Get the silicone mixing attachment for a small drill, mask off with plastic film because it doesn't stick well to it and makes clean up easier. I poured a very small amount first to seal up any small holes and then a larger amount to fill space. Hopefully this helps, have fun and good luck. ;) ... show more

This stuff works great but it’s a challenge to use. When I went to mix it it instantly starts to foam up and can never pour it all out I ruined like 4 containers just with these. Also do not underestimate this stuff it rises much more then you would expect

    • Good quality
I used this to fill in gaps around the insulation in my in ground spa. The spa was surrounded by sheets of XPS foam with a 2-3” gap to the dirt. Filled in as expected and remains solid. I recommend buying some extra throwaway mixing cups (do not bother trying to re use them).
