I ordered the version for the XR a few weeks ago and installed it for my system - loved it and now ordered this one for a relative who has the Core module. This one is built identically to the XR version except for the size. the module fits in snugly and the whole thing fits the outlet tightly. It is a breeze to install, and I walked her (88 years old) through the process on the phone (hence no installed pictures.) I asked her to find the Blink module (in her case behind a picture on a desk) and follow the wire to the outlet. Unplug the charger from the outlet and unplug the wire from the Blink module. Place the Blink module into this holder and plug it into the outlet where the charger was. Wait for the blinking lights to turn solid and then open your Blink app on the phone. The picture is there so all is in order. Literally a two minute install. Waiting for the Blink took a few extra seconds. Below is my original review on the XR module - everything applies - this mount is just sized for the core module: ______________________________________________________________________________________ Wall mounts for the sync modules have been around for years. They are almost always some sort of holder for the module that connects a cable that connects to the power supply. Since the prongs of the power supply connect to your power outlet through the holder, the power supply never 'plugs in' all the way. This is normally not a problem in newer outlets but can make for a loose fit in older houses. This one is a different design in that the power supply is part of the holder, and the Blink module plugs into the fixed USB-C plug inside the holder. The install is far simpler and faster than other holders. One of the pictures shows my favorite 'original style' holder. The module slots into the holder very firmly and is difficult to install or remove (intentionally so keep it firmly in place). You then route the wire through the cable clips on the side of the holder to the power supply. The power supply is then inserted through the holder into the outlet. Because the prongs are full size, they insert into the outlet a bit farther and this makes for a more secure fit. I would - and will - order this again as I'll be replacing all of the sync module installs with these for family members. A further upside is that you now have an extra short USB-C to USB-C cable perfect for using with power banks and phones. _____________________________________________________________ and yes, I ordered another. If you've read my other reviews, you know pull punches - this will be my Christmas gift for everyone in the family with a Blink.

What an ingenious little device that I didn't know existed. I really disliked how my Blink Sync Module looked in the electrical outlet with the cord hanging and no good place for the Module itself. Enter this wall mount to the rescue. I just plugged the sync Module into this wall mount and, boom, problem solved! It took a couple of tries to get the Blink Module firmly seated into this wall mount, but that's because I was afraid I was going to damage one piece or the other. But once I used a firm hand, the Module easily slipped into the mount. At just 2" x 2", the mount is compact and sleek looking with no cord. My Blink Sync Module fired right up; no connectivity issues. Been installed for about 1 week now and working great! I expect this device to last a long time as there will be no need to touch it. Well worth the cost. I love it!

A nice solution to avoid having to use USB cables. Functionality wise, it works perfect. Installation couldn't be easier. Just drop your sync module into the holder and plug it in. No cables and instant connectivity. The connection is tight enough that it works with the plug upside down or right side up. It's also small enough that it doesn't block the 2nd receptacle on your outlet. Overall, it's a good quality product at a very fair price. Definitely recommended. My rating method: ★ - terrible. I wouldn't consider buying it. ★★ - marginal at best. Doesn't meet the minimum requirements or quality to be useful. Buy it at your own risk. ★★★ - average. Meets the quality and requirements for a product of this type but is nothing out of the ordinary. If the price is good, I'd probably buy it. ★★★★ - better than average. Exceeds the typical quality of a product of this type and has a few extra features not usually found on other products of this type. I'd buy it. ★★★★★ - exceptional - far exceeds the quality of products of this type. Hard to beat the quality and features included. Best value for the money. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.
