To be fully leak-proof, ensure the lid, drink spout, and straw are all assembled properly, fully closed, and tightened. Do not overfill; overfilling can cause spillage. Do not use in microwave or oven. Do not freeze. Freezing may change performance. Wash before use. Dishwasher safe. Do not wash in commercial- strength appliances or on high heat settings. This can lead to wear and reduced chemical performance. Do not use dishwashing detergents that contain high levels of chlorine or bleach. This can lead to vacuum failure and reduced thermal performance. Dishwashing may age the appearance of your item faster than hand washing. If preserving the finish of any paint and artwork on your item is important to you, we recommend hand washing. To remove stubborn stains: soak overnight with a solution of warm water and baking soda. Remove lid during soak to ensure pressure does not build up. Hand Wash Instructions Use mild detergent and warm water. This thermos bottle keeps liquids cold and icy all day. If I drink all the water quickly I just add more water because the ice is still there. Even left it sit overnight and when I opened it in the morning most of the ice was still there. The flip straw is also very well designed and makes this bottle leakproof. Another nice feature is that when the straw is flipped up it is always facing me when I hold the handle in my right hand. I guess this is due to the way the lid is threaded. One minor drawback is that this bottle is a little tough to open, but that probably helps keep it sealed and leakproof. The tapered bottom fits perfectly into a car cup-holder which makes it very accessible on the go. Also love the soft blue color. I been using this quencher for a while now and I love it! This is my first Stanley and my first tumbler as a whole and it's great. I wasn't sure of what to get but I'm glad it was this. It keeps my drinks cold for so many hours in a day. It's usually not until the next day that the drink is warmer. The pistachio color is beautiful and it's easy to use. I gave this Stanley Quality Tumbler as a gift. It is heavy duty and does not leak! We did a test and flipped it upside down and the lid kept all the liquid in the tumber. Really pretty color!
