This little thing is the perfect size for my bangs! I needed something that was small that could straighten my bangs and maybe add a little curl at the bottom. This straightener heats up nicely and quickly. I do have a little trouble with doing my long, thick, and super curly hair, but I just wet my hair, comb it straight, and do a couple passes with the straightener to get the job done. I love that it comes with its own carrying case, but I wish the case was heat resistant so you didn't have to wait for it to completely cool down before putting it away. The straightener is a basic unit with just an on/off switch. No temperature adjustment. It literally is just a "plug and play" kind of device. I have found that this straightener can be used for both taming my wildly curly hair or (after straightening) making softer wave-like curls. Super easy to use for either process. I do wish the cord was a bit longer as my hair is longer than the cord, which has caused a few issues, so I have started using this straightener with a small extension cord so I have more cord length to work with. The case has proved to be a great help when it came to traveling. The case kept everything together in my suit case and it kept the cord managed so it wasn't getting caught in the zipper. ... show more

I wish the cord was a bit longer, but buying a $1.25 extension cord isn't a deal breaker. It doesn't heat quite as hot as I would like, but again for the cost you can't exactly expect top quality. Its a great to keep in your travel bag.

This is perfect for my little boys hair. He has seven years old and he has really flat hair. I ordered this to give it a little fluff and it is the perfect size. The Perfect heat and I love it. While this is a very small iron, which is good for traveling, it is tiny. The cord is also extremely short and makes it difficult to straighten hair because of the length.
