Good for touch-ups while on the go. You wouldn't necessarily use this for everyday styling. I say that because it doesn't get the same type of power that the standard plug-in kind does. Also, I can't imagine it working the best on thicker hair. For as long as it takes me to straighten my thinner hair, I could only imagine what the duration would be like for someone with thick hair. I usually section off thinner pieces of hair, and it still takes longer than my plug-in straightener. I think it boils down to a matter of convenience here. It's great not being restricted by cords or seeking an available outlet. As long as this straightener is charged, you can use it anywhere. I totally applaud the efforts made to bring convenience into my busy schedule. It isn't uncommon for me to straighten my hair in the car while on the way to a party or event. My husband just laughs at me, but I get a little more time to perfect my look. For me, it's worth it in that sense. Like I said, it's great for touch-ups or finishing what you started at home. The straightener itself looks nice. It has a small LED display that allows you to see the temp, battery life, and if it's locked or not. I usually keep mine on the highest heat setting, which is 420°. I feel like I have to keep it that way in order to achieve the heat level required to style my hair. Also, this straightener is in no way compact in its design. It's about the size of a standard straightener. Regardless, I still use it, and it does help in a pinch. However, it'd be nice if it were smaller, lighter, and overall more powerful in its heat distribution.

Awesome!!! I love this straightener, it’s easy to use and I don’t have to deal with an annoying cord anymore. There’s a lock feature too which is really cool.

I like how the straightener is cordless, but it does not feel like it generates enough heat all the time. You have to take small sections of hair at a time to get decent results. But after a few tries, it seems to be working better, so perhaps it just takes time to get used to. The tongs could also be opened wider. It seems like you don't get enough hair in it at a time. The straightener/curler has 3 heat settings, and you get about 30-40 minutes of use with the 10,000 mAh rechargeable battery and charges via USB-C, so it is very travel friendly. Overall a corded straightener/curler works jsut as good in half the amount of time.

I recently received the Straxelle Cordless Hair Straightener and Curler, and I’m really impressed. It came well packaged and looks great. It’s lightweight and easy to use for straightening, but I also love it for curling, it creates beautiful waves depending on the direction you hold the straightener. The curved design on the outside makes it very easy to curl hair. The adjustable temperature settings (350°F, 385°F, and 420°F) are a fantastic feature, allowing to customize the heat for different hair types. The LED display makes it so much easier to read compared to older models. The battery life is excellent, it lasts for days for personal use, and for professional use, it can go for several sessions, depending on the hair type. Not having to deal with cords is a game-changer, offering freedom while styling. My wife especially likes how the straightener doesn’t open all the way, which adds control, also appreciate the 20 minute automatic shutoff for safety. The ceramic plates leave the hair shiny and smooth. It’s also a fantastic option for travel, the cordless design makes it convenient to use anytime and anywhere. A great tool for both personal and professional use.

I’ve not used a cordless hair straightener/curler before, but I am a total convert. I love everything about this tool. It has a LED display showing the temperature, and you can adjust it at the touch of the +/- button. The flat iron has a small nubbin between the plates that is supposed to disperse negative ions. It must work because it straightened out the frizz in my hair and gave me a lovely soft curls at the same time. I used a setting of 400 and did not leave it on my hair more than 3 seconds. I love that the unit is full sized and yet it’s cordless and has a soft pouch for storage. If you don’t mind the full-size weight it would be nice for traveling. And it absolutely would make an excellent gift. It also has a lock feature to keep it closed during non-use! One last note, it comes with some bonus goodies… a USB-C cord, two hair clips, a rat tail comb, and a storage pouch. All in all, a good deal for the money.
