I bought several cooktops for my AirB&B rooms. They initially worked well but quickly become mulfuction: lock for no reason! Also can not unlock but had to unplug and plug again. We had to buy other brands to replace them (3 of them) and we even did not open the last one with original package. Putting a small pan of hot water on either burner takes about 20 minutes to reach a boil. Considering that we used scalding hot water from an under-sink water heater, we figured that the water would boil super-fast. Due to the dark surface, the glass must be cleaned frequently. We are disappointed that it takes so long to heat the pan or boil the water and have debated returning or exchanging, assuming that the slow heating is not an inherent design problem.
