The media could not be loaded. great grinder. so far nothing terribly wrong, have had it for a month or so. like a couple other reviews i read before purchase, some of the paint on the exterior is coming off. i do take my grinder with me when i go certain places and some days it'll be in my bag or purse rubbing on things for quite a while so it's not a surprise. as i mentioned i read the reviews that also highlighted this issue, and opted for the rose gold option that doesn't seem to have any paint on inside except for the sides. the inside of the containers and the grinding bits have no chipping so far, and the blades still do great. if anything i think just avoid the options that have paint/coloring on the inside/grinding components and you shouldn't have many issues. it has only been a month, if i see more noticeable or problematic changes i'll update. update: i now work from home and go out significantly less. still no paint chipping on the outside!! it does not reside in my purse nearly as much so i'm sure that's helping, but i'm very happy with this! 9/10 would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a grinder that doesn't already have one or is looking for something cheap that does its job well. my only real complaint is how difficult it is to fully clean. i love this grinder but the blades attached to the lid having those crevices inbetween are a real pain. they look great but make things tricky to scrape out. if that isn't an issue for you, definitely a great purchase! ... show more

Bought for my mom who has arthritis in her hands. She loves it and says it works really well for her. Only downside is the ridges are a little sharp, not enough to cut into your hand, but not the most comfortable either.

It's my favorite, hands down. I've had about 5 different ones over the past years, they would gum up and not work as well. Not only that, I couldn't put more than a certain amount of herb without it getting stuck in the teeth and not being able to turn the grinder to grind. My carpal tunnel would get inflamed as I turned only to loosen or tighten the second compartment. With this grinder I don't have to worry about ANY of it. Want to grind more than a gram? No problem! Having trouble getting a "grip" on the crank? Leave it flat, and use your thumb to spin. There are only 2 compartments to open, but when I tell you how amazing it is to not need super strength to open up any compartment is great. The less I have to open is also convenient not having to worry I'm opening the wrong one because the ground matter sits in a removable bowl where the kief gets to underneath. I've had a Santa Cruz one, and my latest was a Grav 1 compartment one because it boasted an ergonomic design with grooves to make the grind easier, but it just fell flat.
