Surprisingly powerful little unit! I installed this 2.5-gallon under sink water heater in less than 20 minutes underneath my laundry room sink, and it works perfectly for delivering quick, consistent hot water. The stainless steel tank is extremely durable, and the LED temperature display makes it easy to adjust the water temperature to your liking. It heats up the water very fast, and it also stays very quiet, and looks sleek under the counter. Highly recommend for anyone wanting instant hot water without waiting!

This is an early review, I'll upgrade the review if things work out if not.... I was reluctant to buy this since it had only a few reviews, but I liked what I read and bought it. It comes with all the parts you need to put it together, and I installed it in less than 1/2 an hour because this was a replacement for a prior under sink water heater that only lasted one year. The other water heater had a large separate pressure relief valve, this product has a much smaller pressure relief valve that you connect to the cold water inlet. That is my problem. The pressure relief valve is constantly leaking thru the outlet tube to the tune of a gallon an hour. I've set the temperature to 115 and the leak isn't from hot water pressure, the water that is leaking is cold water. I installed this on a Saturday, so I'll try to contact service on Monday to see if they have a quick fix.

The anode rod in an RV water heater is a normal maintenance item if you do not have an aluminum tank. It is expected to deteriorate and needs to be at least inspected if not replaced on a regular basis. When the surface is badly pitted and portions of the rod are missing, it is time to replace it. I change mine out in late Spring as I prepare my trailer for a Summer full of camping. I primarily boondock and need to be sure my water heater is kept in good shape! This anode rod appears to be like any other, except for 2 things. It is longer than any I have previously purchased and installed and it has a gasket at the place where the threads meet the bolt head. This gasket is completely useless for my purposes as the threaded portion was longer than the receptacle so it never made contact with the tank, and I always use PTFE tape on the threads anyway. This anode is about .75in longer than any I have used in the past. It fit just fine and threaded in easily. Time will tell if it will hold up like its pricier name brand model. This is one of those items I always carry in my “boony” box for those :just in case” moments. If this holds up for the summer season I am likely to buy a couple more to have on hand.

I used one of these to replace the one that disintegrated in our RV's water heater. We have the larger 12 gallon water heater in our 42' Destination travel trailer. I respect these anodes for sacrificing themselves for the betterment of the water heater. If left unattended, the liner and heating element could deteriorate instead. These anodes are much cheaper to replace. Plus it forces us to do some maintenance - like flush the old stuff out and clean up the water heater housing along with ensuring not bugs or wasps have built any homes behind the cover or inside of the gas manifold! I'm not exactly sure if it's brass or some plated potted metal at the threads, but I like it better than my old one that was made of regular steel that was prone to rust. Other than that - not much to say about anodes!

The dimensions are correct. The flexible washer was a nice touch. The OEM anode rod had a steel wire in the middle, which prevented piece of the spent anode rod from falling into the water heater. This anode rod did not have a steel wire. So, make sure to replace it before it's fully spent.

Our RV recently hit the 10 year old mark, which meant it was past time to replace the anode rod in the water heater. So when I saw this RV Water Heater Premium Magnesium 10" Anode Rod, I knew I wanted to test it out. Once I got the to the water heater, I removed the old one and there was nothing hardly left of it! This new one screwed right in and with some teflon tape, it sealed right up! I filled up the tank and pressurized the system, and no leaks! Replacing the old anode rod makes very good sense, because I'd rather replace the inexpensive the rod than replace the water heater. This worked perfect for our RV, very glad to get this and install it.
