Nice unit but Couldn't get the pressure valve to seal no matter how much plumbers tape I used finally I put a small O-ring that fit right on the lip inside and then a larger O-ring outside on the top of the threads, did the job. I think it should come with that installed already. I know it's just about the packaging... other than that works like a charm.

This 120v model is simple to install. I put it under the kitchen sink, and it makes water for pasta boil much faster, and our dishwasher kicks on almost automatically. It's a simple 120v install, which doesn't require running a new 220v line. If you have a dishwasher, all the necessary items will be located under the sink. Just add a couple of feet of Romex. It's large, but well-designed and fits nicely in the back corner under the sink, which is usually wasted space. A mounting bracket is included if needed. This dropped our electric bill $15/month, and it's been very energy efficient. The exterior of the unit is well-made, both in terms of material quality and shape. Water flow and pressure is unchanged.

I recently installed this water heater in my garage and it works pretty well and heats the water quickly but this is not a true "on-demand" water heater like I thought it was. True "on-demand" units warm the water as it passes through the unit while this unit has a small water tank and the water in the tank is heated in advance and kept at your desired temperature so it's ready to use immediately but once the water in the tank is depleted it will need a few minutes to reheat and get back up to temp again. This means you have a limited amount of hot water to use before it runs out within a couple of minutes. Basically this heater is best suited for tasks that only require brief usage like a quick hand wash and not suited for longer activities like showers or baths.

It does exactly what it should — heats water. But the real win is how well it fits under a sink. Clean design, easy to tuck away, and surprisingly sleek and easy to install for something so utilitarian. No complaints here.

I didn't hook up the sink in my shop to our hot water heater so I have done without for so long. Now I have hot water! This was super easy to install and it is out of sight out of mind. It is small enough to fit under the sink without sticking out of the cabinet. It heats up really quickly and doesn't use that much energy. I am very happy with this and would definitely recommend this.
