I work from home and wanted a nicer and cheap headset for my long calls with customers and this works very well. The battery seems to last for well over 6 hours, which is the longest I have used it and then recharge it again after almost every call and have not had any issues. These work pretty well. I get some static now and then, but not frequently enough to bother returning them. Fit reasonably on my head but I feel like they're not quite big enough to cover my ear completely, lending to some discomfort. Worked immediately on my Windows PC.     • mic mute doesn't work

I got this headset found it pretty decent for the price, worked as it said it would. So I got two more as back ups, and so that I didn't have to deal with the fiddly process of disconnecting and reconnecting every time I switched between laptop and phone. Unfortunately the mic mute does not work on either of the second two I bought, which was very disappointing and since it was the case with two items is likely a common issue (unless I'm just incredibly unlucky) they will also sometimes randomly disconnect and reconnect, or just not not work until I restart them. On the one headset where the mic mute does work that is a handy feature, though it will interrupt whatever you're listening to to loudly announce that the mic is mute making it inconvenient to mute on the headset during a conversation as you'll miss bits. Other than that it's a decent enough headset, the mic and sound quality are very good for the price. It's comfortable enough to wear all day. The volume wheel is a great feature, much easier than buttons. It offers absolutely no noise cancelling, I can hear everything through it, so probably not a good choice if you want to use it in a noisy environment. Had I recieved three headsets that were fully functional I would have given a five star review as the one headset that works properly is very good for the price. Two out of the three being faulty - and faulty upon purchase - seems like a pretty poor result ... show more

I had high hopes for this cheap headset based off other reviews. Honestly its not terrible, but it is exactly what I said- cheap. I should've known I need to invest money in a good quality set. Sound is fine most of the time though you can tell it isn't crisp like a good set would be. The materials feel flimsy, but it is comfy and light on my head. But my biggest complaint and why I will be returning them is the microphone. Unless the mic is literally touching my bottom lip when I talk or I hold my hand over the front of my face/mic, it hardly picks up on my voice. I have a silent environment , so its not trying to filter anything excessive at all. I have adjusted every setting I could on my PC and call software as well as trying to move the mic around in various spots. Even if I leave it that close to my lip, it consistently cuts off my voice and sounds like I am speaking on an old webcam. Speaking into my laptop's built-in mic produces clearer results. This simply will not work for someone who takes phone calls 8 hours a day and needs to relay important information to end users. I've used this headset a day. Lesson learned- Spend the extra $50-150 more on a quality headset and do a little research on them if mic matters to you/your job, you wont regret it. ... show more

I really want to like these: they're pretty comfortable, they're big enough to get my elephant ears inside, they're fairly light, and reports are that the microphone sound is decent. But the sound is way too bass-heavy for me, just boomy in a really grating way. Now, I like piano music and other intricate stuff, maybe for some listeners these would work great: if your tastes lean towards pounding bass that overwhelms more delicate aural detail, they might be fine. Also, they have an actual volume analog control, which is... interesting. I forget how pleasant it is to have nice, smooth, stepless, gentle control over volume, but it's also easy to bump and change inadvertently. Still, I'd probably put that on the pro side. YMMV ... show more
