Haven't torture-tested for battery longevity or transmission strength, but it fired up quickly and easily out of the box and sounded great for a short test at close range. Advised: Pay close attention to the geometry of the receiver and microphone/transmitter.

OMG! I thought I'd try this for my trumpet and compare it to a much more expensive mic system. I really can't believe how good this sounds. No delay, no distortion. I'm super impressed. And, this is smaller and lighter weight than my expensive mic system. I might try this out at my next gig.

I experienced too much latency with this microphone. It was way too noticeable, creating that chorusey effect sound you get with a bit of latency. I don't know specifically how many milliseconds it was because I didn't record to measure it. But believe me, it was noticeable. It results in a sax sound that sounds spread out when I am hearing the sound from the sax and the speaker together. This was not acceptable for me so I returned the microphone. The other aspects of the mic were nice. The build quality seemed decent, it charged well and lasted a long time, and the clip and gooseneck worked pretty well. So I gave an extra star for that. Perhaps if the mic had extra channels to switch to, I could have found one with less latency. I don't know. Maybe a beginner wouldn't mind the latency too much, as the mic functioned very well otherwise. But for my use it was not adequate. I need a pure uneffected sound. So I returned it for a refund. I am now considering a more expensive mic like the NUX B6 or XVIVE U7.

This is a nice wireless acoustic instrument mic, but ne forewarned, it is NOT for acoustic guitar, more for horns, drums, wind Instruments where it can be clipped on easily. There is really nowhere to clip it to on a guitar without it getting in the way. That being said, I was able to test it and it's a competent and good sounding little wireless microphone kit. WHAT'S INCLUDED: Wireless mic, wireless receiver, mic clip, USB cable, manual. EASE OF USE: Could not be easier, plug the mic and receiver in, turn them on, put the clip on the mic and clip it on whatever you want to record. BEST USES: Recording any instrument you can clip this microphone to without it being in the way. Would be great on horns, wind instruments, drums, etc. SOUND QUALITY: As you can see from my pic, I just clipped it on my guitar amp and ran both acoustic and electric guitars through the amp to record using my DAW software. The sound quality was great, as long as you get your input levels correct and don't overwhelm the mic it records very well. Acoustic guitar sounded crisp and clean, very good frequency response and faithful recreation of the sound. Same for Electric guitar, picked up everything great and reproduced what I was playing very well. I also spoke into the microphone and laid down some vocals over my acoustic track and the voice recording sounded great as well. Just make sure you get your levels correct and don't clip the signal. BATTERY: I used the mic for about 90 minutes and the battery showed no sign of giving up. Should be good for 3-4 hours of recording I would think. RANGE: I did the range test and the mic didn't start cut out until I was about 25 feet away in another room. So pretty good range. VALUE: At less than $40 it's a great deal if this is what you need. Recommended!

As a Professional Stage & Lighting Technician, Sound & Studio Engineer, Professional Audio-Visual Production Specialist, DJ and Musician I obviously work with a Wide variety of instruments and musicians some requiring very specific mic setups! If you are a musician that specializes in playing the trumpet, saxophone or other wind instruments I highly recommend this special wireless kit which allows you to amplify the sound if your wind instrument wirelessly! First of all this kit is very easy to use and comes with a transmitter as well as a receiver, a Mic Clip and a dual charging USB Cable! When you turn on the transmitter as well as the receiver you will notice that a green light indicates that the unit is on and once they connect you will get a solid green light on both units! On the side of the unit you will notice that there is a battery indicator light which allows you to see how much power is left in each of the units! I have to say that this product sets up very easily and is also thankfully very easy to use! Another thing I wanted to point out is that they provide you with a dual charging USB cable which allows you to charge the transmitter as well as the receiver at the same time from one single cell phone power block! Overall I found that the microphone did a very good job picking up wind instruments as well as voice as well and would be great for those that are on a budget or are looking for a cost-effective way to amplify sound from a particular wind instrument! Therefore, based on my review I am rating this product five stars because it is in excellent and very useful product for those musicians that require amplification for their wind instruments!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is very useful gear for remotely recording voice and music on my Canon camera. The receiver mounts directly on the camera and connects using the smaller microphone jack once the adapter for the larger connector is removed. Setup is straightforward and intuitive. The transmitter with the clip-on microphone can be attached wherever needed, and it starts transmitting clear audio immediately after powering on. It truly feels plug and play: connect, turn it on, and it is ready to use. I did not notice any meaningful lag or connection drops during my use. One detail I really appreciated is the rotating receiver connector. This made it possible to fit the receiver on the side of my camera even in a very tight setup. My camera has a cage, handle, HDMI cable, and USB-C cable connected, and the mic receiver still fit without interference. I used this microphone to record a video of a hummingbird visiting our feeder, and it captured the sound of the wing flaps clearly, which was easy with this wireless setup. Overall, this has been reliable, easy to use, and delivers good audio quality. I am very happy with the product and can confidently recommend it. Great value for the price.
