I needed a lighter safe and wanted it less expensive. This safe is very thin compared to an actual fire safe. You will need fire proof document holders. One comes with it. This safe met all the requirements I was looking for to put in a RV. I really like the biometric scanner. Once you input your fingerprint, your finger can be in any position and it opens pretty quick. Sound can be muted. You can have single or double inputs (finger plus pin code) to open the safe if desired. The hand gun holder looked cool but still undesided if I'm going to keep using it. Not much space between the gun rack and shelf to grab your weapon. Noisy if your weapon hits the shelf when retrieving it. Weapon rack can be removed. Directions for setting it up were clear for me.

I thought it would be great for the price. It did fit my guns with the cool holder as well as other valuables. The fireproof document holder was great for birth certificates, social security cards and such. However, the fingerprint scanner unlocks with anyone's fingerprints. I programed only one finger with its but my entire family was able to unlock this safe with their fingerprint. Needless to say I had to ship it back ( which was also a pain in the ass). Please do not buy this safe island you want to keep your valuables secure!

Just got this the other day. Nice size and pretty easy to set up ...once you read the awful instructions a few times lol. Perfect for my needs to hold some valuables and paperwork. Appears well made and all the functions work. One thing...it is a little door heavy but totally solved this when I mounted it to wall with the screws included. Bonus...cool to use your fingerprint to open the safe. Seems like a good purchase for the price...so far so good!

The one I got does work. It’s the biometric system that is letting anyone in who has a fingerprint. So unsafe for gun storage with all my kids around and my safe opens for anyone with a print. What do I do with this safe now? Everything else about this safe does work and is good.

this safe is really good, it has all the bells and whistles you could want and at great price. Also wonderful customer service, I had a minor issue with a shelf bracket that broke in transit and I was helped very quickly with no issues. I would only recommend buying a magnetic light to stick in it cause the one build in does work but isn't very bright. Overall A+

The media could not be loaded. We got this safe to save our important documents. The exterior medal feels really thick and safe. It came with a gun holder. We don’t have a guy yet but my husband has been talking about buying one. So it would be handy once we get a guy. It came with 2 keys. The finger prints function and the keypad on the front door is great. If it would come with batteries, it would be even better. Overall, it fits our needs and is under our budget.

It's crap. The biometric opens for anyone - and just completely stopped working less than a year after purchase. Contacted the seller - they told me it was out of warranty - send a video & they'd see if someone from tech could assist. I asked about replacement parts-no answer. Unless you just want to use it with the key...make it a hard pass.

The media could not be loaded. Although this safe is fairly light and not fire proof, it is perfect for keeping items secure. The handgun rack takes up a lot of space and I don’t use it, but the quality is nice. The biometric reader and the keypad have worked flawlessly.
