This safe is the perfect size for our needs. Setting up our personal code was quick and easy. I love that a set of keys is included in case we get locked out. The fireproof feature was very important to me and the shelf provides a nice way to divide particular items. Would highly recommend.

Edited to say… the bigger size may be best. The 1.5 holds 8x10 paper but doesn’t hold it if it’s in an envelope or folder. It fits but you have to slant it to get it in the safe, and slant it inside safe. It won’t lay flat. Ordered the 1.5 Cubic Home Safe. The size is great for storing documents and more! I followed the instructions and was able to set up the combination with no issues. I feel my items are safe with the keys and the combination lock. The wall mount option is great if you want more weigh and an unmovable safe. It also includes a fireproof document bag. I saw some of these for sale individually on Amazon so it’s nice to include one with the safe. Overall, it was a great purchase.

The media could not be loaded. I had to find a way to secure all medicines including over the counter ones, knives, scissors and other sharp items but I wanted a way that would fit on my kitchen counter with easy access. This safe does all of that. There is a removable shelf and felt pad at the bottom of safe. It was easy to set up lock code and allows you to input two different ones. There is also key access which includes two keys. Key access is behind faux front and is easily removed Love it! I haven’t tested it for for it water resistance. Not sure how to do that exactly. It did come with a zippered pouch that appears to be protective.

For the price, this is a good product. The key and the electric buttons worked great - and it is super easy to use and I programmed in a 4-digit number. Bolting it to the floor is not a job for an amateur homeowner. The directions are a bit simplified. I got a neighbor who is a mechanic, and he purchased some different bolts and had a powerful drill for cement floors. It took him about an hour of fiddling around. But now it is super secure and I feel much better with my documents being protected. Not sure about its water resistance as we have not had a flood or fire.
