Works perfectly if you have the green "learn" button on your garage door opener. I'm glad garage door opener manufacturers color coded their programming buttons. Makes it so much easier to purchase the correct replacement. I replaced a 20+ year old Sears Craftsman keypad with this one. Programming was a snap. It's easier to program the unit while holding it near the green button and then mounting the keypad outside later. The installation holes were not in the same place as the original unit but I was able to use one of the old holes and drill a new one while covering the unused hole with a piece of tape and hiding it with the body of the new keypad. ... show more

Bought to replace old outside controller. Very nice, works every time. The previous one worked when the door "lock" was on, This one doesn't. May be a programing thing though.

I have been struggling to program the actual lift master keypad. It never worked reliably since I installed it last week. I spend too much time with lift master tech support and it never worked properly. I purchased this based on reviews and set it up tonight.
