it's a good helmet for the winter, the extra thickness helps to keep my head warm while riding. Here's the pros and cons I found Pro: thick helmet, feels safe and has good insulation modular, can pop open the face shield so people can look at your face has a built-in sun shield tho it's not polarized. removable inner lining that can be washed. Cons: -heavy helmet, my neck gets sore after a long ride. -the sun shield has a small nose cut out which is unnecessary because it's not close to the face, but it's annoying on a bright day because there's a source of bright light coming into your eye. -thick helmet, feels ridiculous like wearing the helmet from Spaceballs -gets foggy when not moving even if the vents are open

For under 60 bucks you cannot go wrong this thing is pretty gosh darn cool, I absolutely love it. And it allows me to drink my coffee while I'm driving down the road. When does tend to grab it occasionally but you probably shouldn't be trying to drink coffee at 90 miles an hour like I do. If you're running down the road at 35 it does very well

The advantages of a modular helmet is there easier to put on and take off this one is not bad another advantage is its a full face or open face design on my helmet I'm impressed I've taken my motorcycle to 95mph minimal wind noise on a CB HONDA 1100 retro style bike with a small wind screen I bought it used just to try out I'm glade I did but be aware its heavy not so mush so I don't like it also keep in mind its a budget helmet but for what it is its a great deal and easy to use live to ride ride to live be safe!

Took a Basic Rider Course and couldn't find a helmet that would fit my size Small head. This was perfect. The modular helmet need a little work to move all the functions but after a few times of using switches they started to loosen up. The Quick release pull tab is a great part of the helmet, I was able to take helmet off without having to readjust straps constantly. People asked where I got the helmet because of the ease of putting it off and on. The attached sunglasses were a great help with not having to worry about them coming off or slanting on my face. Good reasonably priced helmet for first time rider.
