I’m using these stickers as an aid to learning how the keys relate to the notes on the staff so I can read sheet music. These were easy to apply. They look and feel great, as long as the keys are wiped down with the provided cloth, and the air bubbles are squeegeed out with the provided application tool - a thin, plastic, guitar pic-shaped piece of plastic. You can feel a small ridge due to the thickness of the sticker, but nothing distracting. If you apply them to the wrong note by accident, they can be removed and re-applied. The stickers are flexible, but don’t stretch or distort. They are sticky, but don’t leave any residue whatsoever. When applying, the print did not scratch or come off. I do wish that there was a better way to line them up on the keys. Perhaps some kind of template would help. Maybe a ruler would have helped to get them all aligned? I like that the letters are different colors. For example, all of the “C” notes have the color red, so you can find all of those notes easily. The sticker sheet has all of the notes numbered and in order (the numbers stay on the sticker sheet and are only for reference), and it shows where to start the keys depending on how many keys your piano or digital keyboard. This was very helpful. I like that there are two sets of stickers as well. I think just applying them on the keys helped me to learn a little in the beginning. Looking at them daily helps a lot. It’s amazing how something so simple can help so much! I’m giving these a 5 star rating because of their useful design, the inclusion of the cloth and application tool, and that they don’t do any damage to the keys (nor much, if any, to themselves) when reapplying.

My daughter has recently started playing piano. We started her on a 61 key keyboard. The great thing about this set is it is versatile for various keyboards that have different amount of keys. At first I just used letter stickers and while that did work I wanted to get something that showed the letter and the note. My daughter is nine and she finds these to be very helpful. The stickers are easy to apply....just simply follow the directions for the number of keys your keyboard is. I will say while they are fairly simple to apply it is time consuming. You will want to make sure the keys are wiped clean of any dust first, peel the sticker and stick it to the desired spot. You really only have one shot as they are super sticky and do not come back off easily. Once applied there is a little tool that you use to push out any air bubbles out from under the sticker. This set does come with 2 sets of stickers which is nice. Overall, I found this to be a great set and my daughter was really excited about them. She liked that they are colorful and that they help her to locate the correct keys. Great product!

Ok, it took me some time to apply these stickers but I'm glad I did. The stickers come with markings indicating where to start depending on common keyboard lengths (for instance, 88 key, 76, etc.). I have a 72 key midi controller and so had to count out my keys and determine that I needed to start from the 76 key section. I have a particularly maddening attention to detail and wanted to get things precisely aligned but the application went a lot smoother when I just gave in and went for "good enough". So some are a little crooked and that's ok. When I read these are removable stickers, I thought they might be vinyl cling stickers but they do have a light adhesive on them. Still, I had a few that went on a little too crooked where I had to start over and reapply. They did come off pretty easy in those circumstances. I have a keyboard with full-sized keys and I think that for those mini-keyboards with the narrower keys, the black key stickers might be a bit too wide and need trimming because they went nearly edge to edge on my keyboard. My one and only gripe might be that, because they are clear, it was hard to find the edge on some of the stickers and I found myself many times trying to start peeling from right about the staff lines when there's probably a good half a centimeter above that. About halfway through the application process, I found that if I creased the backing at the top of each row of stickers so that the top edge popped out just a tiny bit, it was way easier to peel these off. Although there is a pick supplied to help with the application and alignment, I found it easier to use a pair of tweezers. All in all, I'm glad I stuck through the tedious process of applying these stickers.

My daughter loves to play the piano and create her own songs. She plays really well, but needs some help with writing the notes on the music page. These stickers are super easy to peel off the page and adhere very well to the keys. The sheet explains well where each key goes based on how many keys your keyboard/piano has, which was extremely helpful for me since I have no idea how to play the piano myself. I really like that it not only says the note names, but also shows what the notes look like on the lines. These have been very helpful!

I’m not ashamed to admit I have these on my keyboard. I’m learning and these help 100 percent. They don’t peel either so they aren’t unsightly. It really does make learning easier because you begin to associate the notes on the staff with the keys as you play. I’m a visual learner so these are great for me!

I have used note naming stickers on keyboards in the classroom before. What I like about these is that they correlate the note name to the music staff. When students are learning to read music and trying to locate the note on the keyboard they have added assistance. When students are just playing notes on the piano without sheet music, they are introduced to where the notes are on the staff which helps prepare for decoding.
