I have yet to run across bluetooth buds that sound as good as a nice pair of wired IEM's. The ColorBuds are no exception to that rule but I really did not expect them to be. They sound pretty good but like with most bluetooth buds, the low end leaves a bit to be desired. Don't get me wrong though. There is some low end, it just isn't as present\powerful as I would like it to be. I still prefer wired IEM's for critical music listening but wired IEM's are not always practical. For those impracticable times I purchased a pair of ColorBuds. The sound quality is better than what you could reasonably expect from a sub $100 pair of earbuds. The fit and comfort is outstanding. I have never felt like one was going to fall out of my ear on its own and their low profile ensures that they fit very comfortable. Except for the fact that I can hear music playing in my ears, I almost forget I have them in my ears. Pairing with a phone is as easy as it gets and once paired, opening their case to use them automatically re-pairs them to your phone and by the time you get them in your ears, they are ready to go. They do not have active nose cancelling which may be a big strike against them for some people but I have not found myself yearning for it.     • Brings passion back to my music, but with bad customization

I switched from Sony's ANC earbuds, which were ugly, clumsy, and didn't sound very great, nor did I find the ANC worth it. I fell in love with music in 2018 to a pair of 1MORE Quad Drivers, and I really think there's something in the way 1MORE's sound designer tunes these things because boy does everything I love listening to just sound so much more alive on these than other sets. The mint color truly is cute, and the charging case isn't as big as the Sonys' was. And man are they more comfortable in my ears! The downside is pretty much everything else - I kind of have no idea what is going to happen each time I double or triple-tap each bud - it seems to either change with each boot or pairing, or my taps aren't reliably recorded, there is no tap and hold option for me to customize, nor is there a single tap. Even with the Android app installed and the firmware updated as of October 2020, the options I chose seemed to be backwards of what actually made it to the earbuds, and one of the two buds loses connection to the other in a way that only seems repairable by repairing to my OnePlus 7 Pro. Allegedly, there is the option to triple-tap the button between the two buds in the case to prompt them to find each other, but this seems to also depair from my phone. Whoof. I've uninstalled the app for greater consistency, and love the look and sound so much that I am definitely keeping them, but boy this is rough. Definitely only a recommend if you're in for the looks, price, and specific 1MORE sound. For me it's a 4-star, but the things not working well on mine would be dealbreakers for pretty much anyone else. ... show more

TL:DR- Surprisingly crisp and clear sound. Great fit. Sound quality and a comfortable fit are really quite good for ear buds. Come equipped with extra pairs of tips to adjust that fit as well. No great surprise, given the size, but bass is just ok but rest of the range is terrific. Connects quickly although in this day and age, I’m surprised that they will connect to only one Bluetooth device. Once paired with my Apple Watch Series 5, they will not pair with my iPhone, which limits utility. The other thing I still have to figure out was frequent pauses in music playback while running. Could’ve been caused by incomplete downloads and waiting for buffering to complete. I’ll give them another go or two this week and if it’s still a problem, will return. While walking, however, I’ve not had that problem even during an hour long brisk walk. Fit and finish (I bought the black ones) is excellent. The case is well constructed, albeit too bulky to fit in your pants pocket. At 16 hours of battery life, that’s a pretty trivial issue and doesn’t affect usage. ... show more

    • Revenge of the Bluetooth connectivity.

For the first week, these earbuds were good overall. (Note: I said the first week.) Bluetooth: Oh just keep reading, I have alot to say about the "Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity" of these earbuds. And nothing positive. In-Ear Sensor: My biggest gripe with these earbuds was the in-ear sensor. I have never liked these sensors over touch control, and I still don't. They work don't always work properly, and they are simply just annoying. I don't always want a song paused when I take them out, and I don't always want to have to take them out to pause it. Noise cancellation: Okay, if you get a good seal. Battery: Meh, not the best, not the worst. The earbuds have about 5 hours of charge each, and take about an hour to charge. I found that the case itself needs charged every other day. Sound: Once again, meh. Nothing impressive, better than a $30 pair of earbuds but certainly nothing impressive for the price point. App: Ah, the "app" is supposed to have a software update for the earbuds (it doesn't work) And offer the ability to customize the sound of the earbuds, though only for downloaded songs that the app recognizes, (which isn't many), and only while using the app. In other words, you might as well pretend the app doesn't exist. (AFTER ONE WEEK) So, after about 6 days of using these earbuds, I started to notice connectivity problems, they would sometimes not connect to my phone when taken out, and would sometimes not disconnect when put in the case. But it would always be fixed by just keavithem in the case for a minute, and taking them back out. At first. Then, after a few days of this, putting them back in the case would no longer work, they would simply not connect from my phone, so I had to turn off my Bluetooth until they shut off on their own. I tried to convince myself this was a fluke, and would fix itself. (I have bought 3 pairs of earbuds in the last month to find a pair that worked well, only for each one to have issues, and I was tired if returning them) Then the left earbud stopped connecting to my phone. Now keep in mind, I take care of my electronics almost to the point where I'm reading them bedtime stories before I charge them. So the issues, are 100% the fault of the earbuds, and their manufacturer. The left earbud to this day, does not work. The led lights up when charging, and trying to connect, and that's it. It does not pair with my phone, or it's counterpart. The right earbud still has the previously mentioned earbuds. (FINAL VERDICT) These earbuds were $60. And it was the worst $60 I have ever spent. I am appalled by these earbuds. The fact that they cost so much, and could be so terrible. I'm insulted by their existence. Now, I'll admit, maybe I just got a bad pair, maybe these earbuds normally are awesome. But I'm not review the national average of these earbuds performance, I'm reviewing the ones I was sent. You want good earbuds for this price range? Buy the "MPow M30 Plus", or save up until you can afford the "Google Pixel Buds" But do not buy these. ... show more
