I use this product for teaching an aqua fitness class. I like how easy it is to charge and use with either the big floor model speaker at the gym pool and I my small portable speaker I take to various HOA pools. I struggle a little with the headband being a little loose for my head. It is a good shape and design but it is not adjustable. The mouthpiece, which adjusts nicely, moves out of place when the headband slips. I am trying out using a clip to keep the headband attached to my cap hoping this will keep the mouthpiece where I want it. I like the quality and sound. My students in the pool all say they can hear me just fine when it is positioned correctly. I just need to figure out a way to keep that position. ... show more

I'm a university professor and because of the pandemic I am teaching classes on-line. The microphone that our college "computer experts" provided me integrates with an owl camera, but the sound is so muffled that when I play back the recording, I can't even understand it. The university's microphone useless - so I needed to find and set up my own system. What I've done is to use this microphone (1 Mii - where did they come up with that name?) along with a small speaker (Giecy Voice Amplifier Portable Bluetooth 30W 2800mAh Rechargeable PA System Speaker). I put the speaker by the owl camera which picks up my voice. I can walk up to the screen and point at Powerpoint slides and move about - so much better than just sitting by the computer. (I still have some students that take the class face-to-face.) The combination has excellent sound. The students can actually understand me . . . amazing. I tried two other microphones - but they failed after a few uses. But this one lasted the year and worked great. When I pulled it and tried it this semester, my voice came out full of static. It's no longer usable. Nevertheless, it's so much better than anything else I've tried that I bought two more to try to get me through pandemic which goes on and on thanks to all the unvaccinated. I plugged this in to my PC's microphone input and it worked. It paired with the headset immediately and I was able to record with decent, clear output at a normal volume. I then tried pressing the +/- buttons on the headset to change the volume (up just a bit) but on subsequent recordings, the volume was extremely low and muffled. I tried pressing the volume up button on the headset many times and also the volume down button (just in case they were backwards on the button), but regardless what I tried, I could no longer raise the volume back to a normal, clear level for recording. I also tried charging both the receiver and headset for 10 minutes to make sure I wasn't at the end of the charge for some reason, but that also did not correct the strange volume change. I removed the wind cover on the mic thinking perhaps it had moved and caused some issue with recording, but even without the wind cover, the volume was low and fairly muffled. To ensure I hadn't somehow adjusted some other setting on my PC, I plugged my previous (wired) mic into the same jack and it recorded perfectly. I was just hoping to move to a wireless solution so I didn't have the wire to contend with. But since the old mic worked, I must conclude that something within this wireless mic stopped working within 10 minutes of plugging it in. Unfortunately, I decided to return it. While it didn't work (long) for me, I can see that it was a decent mic while it lasted and made clear recordings without the hassle of a wire. ... show more

Sound quality is good as a drummer while singing. I bought two headsets for my piano playing brother he would connect his headset 1st and I would connect 2nd. It was always a hassle to connect my headset because I had to press the minus and made sure the transmitter was still blinking so it would connect. Sometimes the transmitter would just connect to my brothers mic, so I would turn off the headset and the transmitter and time it perfectly or sometimes it would be just a miracle If I did not have to go through the hassle and it would just connect first try. The headset itself is cheap plastic and my 300 pound brother sat on the cheap plastic where the mic was. I just taped it up. ... show more

Use this in church to have a headset microphone to move around for a sermon or other speaking. It’s easy to pair, fits right into our sound system, set up in 30 seconds. I purchased this microphone as a back up for a more expensive mic with a body worn transmitter pack and a receiver that requires AC power. I teach fitness classes with a mic. The fit of the headset did not meet my expectations. I must have a small head. I had to position the temple pad opposite the mic very close to my eye. The mic was not stable enough for my Step Aerobics class and I noticed that students had trouble hearing me. When I used it on the deck for Water Fitness I had the same issue with people hearing me over the music. I'm still playing with the volume because it really amplified my breathing and certain consonants. This would be a good mic for lectures or classes that don't rely on music. I don't recommend it if you have a small head and want to use it for active classes. Overall, it seems sturdy enough if handled properly, charges easily, is compact and was easy to operate. If my expensive system breaks, this could help temporarily but I don't see it as a replacement for my current system. ... show more

Great product for the money. I came up with a great idea. I took the transmitter and plugged it into the back of a stand-alone EQ and came out of the EQ into a mixer and it made the headset sound more expensive and Fuller!

Good device for the price. Very easy to set up and use on our stereo system at gym. Have needed a mic for a long time to use in my fitness class. Only problem is that the headpiece is a little too large; therefore I put silicone straws on the headband to pad it and I also use a hair claw clip to hold in place.
