I used this for the first time yesterday. A friend assembled this as I watched. It was easy. It was mainly attaching things. There was some sort of tool (I believe included) and it was ready in a few minutes. Another couple helped me go to the very crowded DMV yesterday. The chair was very comfortable for me (5' 6", 163 #) for a 3 1/2 hour excursion . It's sturdy. The seat is cloth. I haven't found anything that tells me the weight but my friend said it's a little heavy. I will have to find someone to help me with moving it in and out of the trunk due to my back injury. The issue my helper had getting it into the trunk was it caught on to a net just inside the trunk that holds small items. My friends and I are impressed with this chair for my needs. I'm not certain how long it would last if it would be used for heavy duty, daily, use. Maybe an occasional trip to a museum, DMV, etc. It is designed for transport. ... show more

Mine had the foot rests/foot pedals. Like that it folds in the trunk, it's slightly too heavy for me, but I managed. Don't like the braking, would like to be able to hold the brakes at the assistant handles. Sometimes the brakes are out of my reach and the transport can become a little dangerous. But in any case, once you figure out how to pop it in and out of the trunk and unfold it, it was quite handy to have. It's not off roading sturdy, but if you have to wheel a patient up a ramp, it will suffice. ... show more
