Overall easy to install. Water in, water out and gas line. The instructions are poor. I watched youtube, read amazon and ebay reviews for 18l tankless gas water heater for tips. One big tip was to turn down / regulate gas flown to 1/3 on my camp main gas to this unit. I have more than enough hot water. I gave 4 stars due poor documention. Have Had several tankless heaters in various locations over the years this one is the best. This is actually my fourth , first one died from old age (10 years) , second one I moved new owner wanted to keep water heater, third one lost it to the hard freezing weather a week ago (lasted 6 years), I did not drain the lines and an internal pipe ruptured. This one is the newest and the best!!!! Hot water was almost too hot turned it down to summer setting . Very easy to install one screw to hang it another to secure it at the bottom one roll of Teflon tape for the water line connection , one roll of gas line tape for propane connection . My tankless hot water heater is used every day and Im very happy with this new purchase . I live on the gulf coast and we suffered damage with hurricane Sally we were without electricity for 10 days my one bright spot was a hot shower at the end of the day propane tankless heater is the way to go. ... show more

Straight from the box this product failed to work, once installed turned on the hot water tap and the item will fire for about 2 seconds and then immediately go out, not happy that I also have to wait 1 week for a replacement., not fun having 3 kids and no hot water. Buyer Beware.
