I have a large assortment of SAE bolts, washers, nuts, but do not have many metric bolts, nuts, or washers. I plan to purchase a large assortment of metric hardware, but in the meantime I purchased this small assortment just in case. It has already saved me a trip to the hardware store. Case is nice, and contains a decent assortment of hardware. Hardware appears to be good quality. This was an excellent purchase for me, and I can readily recommend It.

This is a good assortment of M6 bolts, nuts and washers. Sizes include: M6x16mm, M6x20mm, M6x30mm, and M6x40mm with corresponding nuts, flat and lock washers. They are made from "high quality 8.8 Grade Zinc Alloy Steel" which is as structural grade for bolts and is the most common form of high tensile material. Usually stocked in plain finish or zinc, these bolts are zinc finished so they should have good rust and oxidation resistance. The storage case is a bit flimsy, the compartments don't seal very well; shaking from shipping moved some of the items into different compartments and a separator became dislodged (see photo). I now need to sort through everything to get back in to the right places, a bit of a pain, so I took away a star for this. Overall, I do recommend this item.

These bolts are rated at 8.8 Grade. They arrived in fine shape in a small plastic case with removable dividers. The nuts spun very smoothly when attached to the bolts. This is the 160 piece kit and comes with 40 bolts, 40 flat washers, 40 lock washers, and 40 nuts. I wanted to test them out a little but was not sure how to do it. They seemed good to me, but again, I do not have the proper tools or methods to validate the rated 8.8 grade. I can find no reason for anything but a 5 star rating. Item came well packaged and undamaged. I will keep this review up to date if any new issues arise. Maybe when I do my bed frame repair, I can report some more info on the bolts. I plan to use some of the grade 12.9 on the frame too.

This set of nuts and bolts is great to have on hand. It will definitely save some trips to the hardware store. I hate having to stop while working on a project and drive to get something. This set is complete too. In addition to the bolts and nuts, it also includes flat washers and split (lock) washers. Everything is nicely organized in a partitioned plastic case with a sizing legend on the lid. The clasp closure is a little weak (doesn't snap very tight), so be careful or the lid may pop open and you might be picking up lots of pieces. The zinc finish is fine as is the overall quality. This set gets the job done and it is a good value.

The kit is a complete set of everything you need to secure your project that needs a Bolt, nut, flat washer or lock washer. The fit and finish is high quality, and these are really good to have on hand. The case seems to be good quality but mine arrived with the pieces all mixed together. It seems the lid is higher than the Seperators or is more flexible than it should be and the pieces can push on it and wonder around to other compartments. Case was not broken but might need a thin piece of cardboard added to the lid to keep everything in its place. Overall I do recommend this handy kit.
