This is a fantastic hair dryer. Folds nicely for travel. I love the size, the power and the settings. It’s nice not to have to hold down the “cold” button, and you get ACTUAL COLD AIR! The attachments are easy to put on and take off. I think it has the very best electrical cord of any appliance in my house!! This is a great hairdryer!! The trouble is that it’s short, and so powerful, it will suck your long hair straight into the air intake. It’s painful and creates horrible knots and ripping. There is a mesh on the back, but it’s not fine enough, and is flat instead of convex. My hair is mid-back length, this is an OUTSTANDING hairdryer for about chin length or shorter. If that’s your style, you’ll love this unit. It’s five-stars for you! **UPDATE** I chopped my hair and now that it’s shorter, I can’t imagine a better tool. It’s so efficient, I love it. I have noticed that the handle gets a super-hot spot, but it’s easily avoidable during use. ... show more

I loved this dryer when I first got it, however, about a month after getting it and using it (used only approximately 20-25 times) the low heat setting burned out- drying my hair when I started to smell the electrical burn smell, the handle started to get really hot and then smoke started to come out of the handle where the control switches are located. Shut the hair dryer off, then turned it back on- all settings but the low heat setting were working. Needless to say, I shut it off, unplugged it and won't be using it again. I have medium length, fine hair, so it was not from over/incorrect use. Amazon was really helpful and offered me to allow me to return the hair dryer and a full refund, even though I was outside of the return window. My last hair dryer (Revlon) lasted me over 7 years, needless to say, I will not be getting another one of these. ... show more

TLDR: it’s cute, but there’s no heat and I wouldn’t recommend it. It does blow air, but mine is basically just a compact heavy duty fan, there’s no heat, so I’m unable to dry my hair at any kind of speed that works for real life. The attachments don’t clip on and off easily, though I did realize they were more rugged than I initially thought, so they actually can just be pulled off and pushed on. It is small and cute, but I’ve had it for nearly 2 years now and I always reach for another hair dryer. I’ve finally decided to give this one up, because it’s really just taking up space in my room. It’s one thing to have low to no heat if it actually dries, but it really doesn’t fit my lifestyle. Nothing wrong with it mechanically in 2 years, though. Months later I cut my hair and started using it and it started smoking from the handle where all the cords are. Holy cow, best hair dryer EVER!!! Let me say the last time I bought a hairdryer was probably 2005. Holy cow, hairdryers have come a long way in functionality. My curly hair is "curly-er" and happier than ever before. This hair dryer is super light weight. Its cool or hot drying setting is thoroughly effective without ruining my curl definition. The hair drying process feels shorter in general. It folds up, awesome for storage and travel. My hair stylist says it better than the top of the line Dyson hairdryers, now thats saying something.
