    • Fantastic cordless jigsaw.
Ryobi hit is out of the park with this cordless jigsaw. The quality of the materials and build are above expectations. The D-handle is very comfortable and easy to grip. The thumb controlled speed is easy to get used to (my old jigsaw had a trigger speed control). There is ample power to do anything I need whether it’s cutting through pine or hardwoods. The Bosch type blades fit perfectly and I noticed no drift or slippage during use. The metal base plate has a smooth plastic cover to protect your wood. It installs easily. Angle cut changes are tool free and the base locks in place firmly and accurately. Blade installation and removal is tool free and very easy to do. Twist the lock control and firmly insert the blade all the way in. There is no play and the blades align perfectly with the guide roller. Removal works just as easily with a twist of the lock control. The blade ejects nicely so you don’t have to touch a hot blade. Overall, I’m very pleased to add this to my Ryobi collection of tools. I strongly considered much more expensive barrel type jigsaws from Bosch and Festool. The Ryobi is hundreds of dollars less and it performs very well. Both the Bosch and Festool offer a higher quality of performance and some unique features like dust collection. While I nearly pulled the trigger for the Bosch, I’m glad I saved the $ and went with the Ryobi. It does what I need and with consistent performance. I’m sure the Bosch and Festool jigsaws are exceptional, but I couldn’t see the difference for the price over the cordless Ryobi. I strongly recommend the Ryobi cordless jigsaw for those with other Ryobi tools or those just starting to decide on which cordless power tool family to join. ... show more

This saw is everything I want in a jigsaw. It is an extreme pleasure to use. I really like the integrated light. The light makes it easy to see the mark you are trying to follow. It turns on when you pull the trigger, and It stays on for several seconds when you release the trigger. Nice. The saw is powerful, and thus uses battery power pretty quickly. I discharged three batteries the first day of using the saw. I think I used the saw for about an hour running time with those three batteries. I don't consider this a downfall--just know when you use a powerful tool it takes battery power to keep the saw going. ... show more

Love This Seller. They shipped immediately and product was received "On Time." I have no hesitation using them again. 5 Stars on the Ryobi Jig Saw but for "us ol' timers" they should consider making the angle of degree indicator a bit "easier to read," as it's tucked quite a ways under the rear-end of the unit... but I can get by. Won't accept universal jig saws. only T shanks. Otherwise refurb worked fine so far.

I replaced a corded old B&D that required a screwdriver to adjust angles and replace blades when it burned out. Replacing blades is so easy! The light is a bonus. Tool-less adjustments is too. Great price too -this sells for quite a bit more at the big box store.

I purchased a ryobi a year or so ago and it bit the dust. I only have ryobi tools so batteries kind of dictate which tools I buy. The new brush-less jig saw does work better and longer. I am a contractor so these are not hobby tools for me.
