This was a wonderful investment for my family. It’s very easy to use and you can pretty much just set it and forget it until day 18. Make sure to keep everything though! Even the styrofoam it comes in is important to maintain consistent heat if you live in a colder house like I do. It’s also good for storing when not in use. There are instructions in the manual, on the box, and even on one of the water bottles. Nice and compact, definitely easy to clean, doesn’t smell. It has a very gentle hum that easily passes as a soft background white noise. I’ve already hatched out two batches of chicken eggs with excellent results, and about to start a third. Great price and very reasonable quality. I would definitely buy this again if I needed to. Can’t wait to try different kinds of eggs too! Hoping to eventually make a video, but may be awhile as I don’t have much free time.

*Edit to update - company responded and helped me resolve the issue. In my case it was user error. I did not reset the machine by pressing + and - before using it a second time. Incubator worked fine for the first round. It was unplugged for more than a week after first hatch. When starting the second round, the day counter will not reset and just continued from the first cycle. Since the unit thinks it's day 25 the automatic turner will not work. Cannot reset the day counter. Second press of settings button lets you change the day counter but it will not stay there, goes back to 25.

Works great - read the instructions (not the best in the world, but sufficient). Make sure to reset the incubator each time after you use it. The candler is a little tricky: the incubator display light comes on when you turn the candler light on (making the candler ineffective). I covered up the display light with my phone (small, but thick enough to block out the light), then the candler worked alright. We put in 12 eggs, at day 18 we had 9 viable (according to my inexperienced judgment) and 8 hatched on days 21 and 22. The temp and humidity remained constant as long as I left the incubator shut. Since our house is a little on the chilly side, I kept the styrofoam packing on the incubator for most of the incubation period. However, the incubator kept the temp even without the packing on. But, KEEP THE STYROFOAM, JUST IN CASE! Someone from customer service contacted me immediately after I purchased and offered a free waterer and feeder. It came promptly and we're using it now. Simple, but great for a small batch of chicks. I'm not sure how useful the waterer would be for ducklings, but we'll see. We've used it successfully once (12 chicks); our next step is trying out a batch of duck eggs (ducklings would be great, but mostly to see if our inept drake is any good at doing his job). I'll update my review after that. By that time, we'll probably start another batch of chicks. If you have to contact customer service, be aware that they don't seem to be fluent English-speakers, but I think they're trying to be helpful.

We love this incubator, it was so easy to use, it has a good manual (& a lot of things don’t anymore!!), and their customer service is responsive & awesome!! We emailed the support email address with a question & got a response back within 24hrs from an actual PERSON, not a bot! Our chicks hatched out happy & healthy & the unit performed flawlessly, everything worked exactly the way it was supposed to…. & then we put the base unit in the dishwasher & it melted.. 🤦♀️ DO NOT make the same mistake we made, it is NOT dishwasher safe! But that was our mistake & no fault of the incubator. We purchased this model for the price, the features & the reviews, so don’t hesitate to use this one, it’s been great so far!

This was our first incubator. I have no complaints at all, it was easy to set up and use, and the humidity stayed consistent. It’s pretty compact, we were basically able to set it on a shelf and forget about it other than adding water once and candling the eggs. We had a great success rate (17 out of 18 three times). The value is great and it’s nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend. Even cleaning is nice and easy. Chicks were all healthy, didn’t lose any after hatching so far.

Worked great! Detailed instructions included. This was our first time hatching with an incubator. It worked flawlessly with minimal effort on our part. Hatched 14 out of the 18 chicken eggs we put in exactly on day 21. We had pretty significant fluctuations in weather/temp/humidity switching from heat to open windows to turning on the air conditioning (Maryland weather - IYKYK) and the incubator maintained steady desired temp and humidity. Not too hard to clean out when finished. Plus the company also sent us a free waterer and food dispenser for the newly hatched chicks. We have not used the food dispenser as we prefer one we already had but we are using the waterer and it works fine. Definitely worth the money.
