The harness provides full electrical connections for the brake and side light on a trailer with standard 4 pin connector with 5 wires output. I used it to renovate an old trailer somebody gave up on craigslist. The lights are required for the registration at DMV. The installation is pretty easy with some time spent on laying out the wires and mount to the trailer. After installation, all the lights works well with the brake panel and turning switch.     • Good quality wiring kit
This is a really nice wiring kit. It comes with a sleeve over the top of the wires that protect them from chafing against the trailer. The wires are tinned on the ends which is nice. The length was good for my 19 foot boat trailer. I rewired the trailer because the lead wasn't long enough for my new adjustable trailer hitch. Even with the extra 6 inches of of lead wire the harness reached back to the tail lights. The only drawback I can report is that the ground wire coming from the plug is alone and unprotected. Since that part of the wire is most subject to damage i feel like this was overlooked. For my application i just ziptied all of the wires together for the lead wire to help protect the ground wire. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This trailer wiring is very high quality and the length is long enough for me to use. The wires are wrapped in nylon wrapped tube for protection and that adds on to the durability of the product. There’s a dust cover to protect the opening when not in use which is a plus.
