I used to only shoot primes but this lens has changed my mind. It's fairly compact and lightweight so it's good for travel. The best part is that it has constant f2.8. Great sharpness and colors too. This is the only lens I take with me when I travel.

Fujinon lenses are great, so it creates a high bar for other lens makers. Sigma definitely clears it – this lens is sharp, compact, light, and with a fairly close minimum focusing distance. The lens is not communicating with the EVF on my Fujifilm XT30iii. The brightness of the preview doesn't change when I change the ISO. My camera is updated to the latest firmware, as is the lens.
