I keep reading about how good Sigma brushes are. For this particular one, I'm unsure about that claim. This is a very soft brush, softer than I was expecting. It also picks up too much powder. I understand it's a blending brush but in the morning I tend to use only one brush because of time. Sephora Pro brushes are stiffer and give me more control over my eyeshadow, while still allowing blending. I'll keep this one for travel or a spare. But I already bought a new Sephora Pro brush to replace it. The difference is apparent. P.S. I don't work for Sephora nor am I sponsored by them. I've just aways been satisfied with their Pro line. I just wanted to branch out. I'll be trying Tarte brushes next, they seem to be similar quality.

I’ve seen this product on a lot of YouTube makeup tutorial videos and since I’m not the most skilled at makeup, I thought that it was their skills and not really the brushes that made the biggest difference between looking amazing and not. I was wrong. I bought this on a whim to see if it was really worth the hype, and it really is. I noticed a huge difference doing eye makeup with this brush as opposed to the cheap ones I’ve always used. I recommend it and I have learned my lesson about the quality of brushes. If an inexperienced person like me can use this brush well, so can you.

I own several Sigma brushes and I am recording this one after using my other one on a daily basis since I purchased it in October. I LOVE this brush. It’s perfect for the lid and the crease, it blends PERFECTLY. This is the perfect shadow/crease brush. I already use other Sigma brushes for my brow bone, outer corner, lower lash line, etc., so I can’t say how it would work for those areas. I love Sigma brushes in general. This one is multipurpose and gets the job done. Sounds like we’re saving lives here or something.

Great blending brush! This does a great job of diffusing the eyeshadow and blending it out with very little touch. I use a windshield-wiper method and that works great. No issues with washing the brushes either (all the color is easily removed with just a little baby shampoo, and I've yet t notice any shedding). I would definitely repurchase this if I ever needed to, but if you're careful with these brushes they can last several years. I would highly recommend this to any woman looking to upgrade her eyeshadow brushes from EcoTools or Real Techniques, or this could make a great gift if both with other Sigmas brushes (I promise I'm not a paid shill for Sigma, I just happen to own a lot of their eye brushes and I've yet to be disappointed!).

This brush is great! I bought the MAC 217 around the same time and I prefer this one to the MAC one. The MAC one doesn't wash well and is scratchy and bushy now compared to when I wash this one. It's soft and blends my eyeshadow well. I'll probably add more of these to my collection. I got the travel version (short handle) in one of my makeup boxes and it quickly has become a favorite.

I've read many great reviews for the Sigma E25 and that it was a dupe for the MAC 217 which I've been using for the past ten years. So I was really looking forward to trying this brush. Upon receiving it I felt the brush and found it to be a bit stiff. I tried this a couple of times and it just doesn't measure up. I much prefer the MAC 217 which is softer and smooths out the eyeshadow better. I'm just really disappointed that I wasted money on this brush.

Here's your MAC 217 but far cheaper ladies! Seriously, it is as close as you can get,,,it's well made, no shedding, and very soft. A Multipurpose shader/blender which ideally allows you to cut a soft crease, although occasionally Sigma doesn't cut the brush exactly right so they are not always flat enough for the control you need to cut a crease, but generally it's not a problem. Since you get a fantastic hi quality brush for approx half the price, I def think it's one to seriously consider. If $14 is too much in your mind to spend on a make-up brush you should hop on over to Coastal Scents website and check out their version (The Pro Blending Fluff) at a mere $4.95 I will attempt a link, but it may [...]
