While some reviewers complained about the “size for the cost” I find this perfectly sized, compact and convenient and packed full of all the necessary items, clearly labeled and organized. There’s even a little room left in some pockets to add your own personal items to take along. We chose red colored bag to be able to locate it in emergency or urgent situations as red is universal for first aid purposes. Attached are photos of the packaging content and items along side for size comparison. A lovely little note to the student is also enclosed. The packaging bag it comes in is 100% corn starch and biodegradable. A sincerely thoughtful product both for the consumer and the earth. This is a convenient way to send your child off to college or first home with a starter kit for BOTH first aid and general sickness. Most similar kits only contain first aid supplies. What is included is sufficient to remedy most minor first aid needs and a day or two of sick supplies. It is a little pricey, but for the time you would spend putting these supplies together, it is well worth it! And it even contains instructions about what each item is a remedy for. In addition, Dorm Doc customer service is amazing: prompt and efficient. I ordered 2 kits via Amazon and only1 was delivered. I put in a problem ticket through Amazon advising of the issue and the same day I got both a return message and even a phone call letting me know they were sending the second kit out and asking if I needed it sent directly to my child at a different address because of the delay. WOW! While original shipping time was quoted das 5 days on Amazon and that was the time it took to receive the first kit, the second kit was sent out FedEx and delivered the next day. This was purchased for my daughter during the COVID-19 pandemic, and she has constantly told me that it is the best thing ever! It has come included with every medicine she could ever need and in smaller quantities - no wasting money on a large bottle of medicine she will only need once. I will say that it doesn't include Zyrtec, which she uses for her allergies, but it does come with a generic form of Benadryl. Additionally, it comes with an instruction manual for using the medicine and first aid kit, so if she isn't sure about what to use or how much, she can reference it. She hasn't had to use the first aid kit yet, which I am thankful for, but mentions that it is good quality (which I trust since she is Red Cross-certified). For anyone with latex allergies - the gloves included are latex, so do make sure to purchase your own if necessary. One thing to mention is that there is a refill for both the medicine and the first aid kit available on their website, so if you run out, you can buy more. All-around great purchase! ... show more

I bought this for my daughter as a college gift. Before she picked it up at her college and moved out of the dorm, the college SENT IT BACK to the sender. It was only when DormDoc contacted me saying there was an issue did I realize she hadn't recived it yet. DormDoc offered to re-ship at no cost to me to my daughter's new address! A few days later my daughter received her gift. Once my daughter received it, she "unpacked" it with excitement. She was very excited about the electrlytes and hangover meds, the cough drops, and all the little items she'll need in her own place. I feel better knowning she has some basic bandaids and antibiotic ointment. I know she's already needed the burn kit.
