The value you get with this kit is just amazing. After watching a few videos on YouTube I was able to do a dip manicure and I’ve done at least 5 or 6 more, there are so many color options. I did purchase a pink translucent dip powder and used some of the glitter dips for accents with it. Each manicure has gotten better and better. Love the kit!

This was such a good buy! It was half the price what I would have paid to go get just get one basic color at the salon for the whole kit!! It comes with everything you need and easy instructions, easier than using basic polish. Anyone can do it! Plus you don’t have anyone to be upset with if it doesn’t turn out perfect. The quality of the product is great for your first kit to get you started and learn with as well.

I love this set. The colors are beautiful. I do wish that there was a color on the dip container to show you what it will look like once it is on and cured. The instructions were vague. When I followed them they chipped the next day. I researched myself and learned you also need dehydrator and primer, and to do TWO coats of activator. Once I did that, they haven’t chipped for a week now and still feel strong. The price for this amount of dip powder is excellent!

Hello from a brand new to dip nail girlie. I bought this kit, because it was cheap and wanted to learn how to do my own nails at home. If that’s you, I hope this helps! Cons: Each container of powder is so small - you physically cannot DIP your nail all the way in. So you have to sprinkle it on. As a newb… this was hard for me. The tray included was no help for this either because even with the whole jar poured in. Very small bottles of all of the base/activator etc. I dont know how many applications I will be able to actually do. Jars are VERY slippery. I had to pick up the tiny jar and tilt it to attempt to dip in as much nail as possible, but the jars get super slippery and slipped out of my fingers and I spilled some product. I gathered it back up and was able to add it back in (keep a clean paper towel under your work area) PROS: Cheap Comes with a little of most everything you need. If I were to do it again, for me, buying a larger jar of one color I like allowing me to actually “dip” my fingernail in fully would be the route I would go. It’s no use having all these colors and accessories if they are painful to use. When I did my nails, I removed my last set of dip done at a salon, which took me a very long time even with pure acetone (no e-file). Then I filed them, I had a couple that were broken so are shorter. Wiped with alcohol, and started to apply my layers. TIP- you can’t immediately brush off excess powder because it will all just brush off. You need to wait a few seconds and then go back with the fluffy brush. I applied mine in small sections to attempt to create an apex, as I saw in some videos I had watched to learn. Overall… they didn’t turn out too bad for my first attempt. I think with some practice I’ll be able to successfully do my own at home. Hope this helps!

I've been looking at these for a long time, finally ordered them last week. This is my first go at any sort of gel nail. I went back and forth because there are so many options out there, but I knew I didn't want one with a UV lamp. While my nails are not perfect, for my first round, I think they turned out dang good! I am the least artsy/crafty person I know and this was extremely easy to do. Very happy with my purchase! I will say, the base, activator and top coats are extremely potent. They kind of burned my eyes when I was applying (but they feel fine today) lol! The glitter powder is a little chunky (because it's actual glitter which you can see). Next time I will file them down before applying the top coat.
