the material feels just the same, if not sturdier than the original that was starting to develop holes. i have a 2012 bumper pull that has been well kept, but you can only do so much for the items on the exterior, especially here in Montana with our harsh winters. easy to replace since it installs into most awning slides, good shade, and for the money a heck of a lot better than the RV dealer..

The fabric fit my 17-ft tube perfectly. Three sewn-in poly-cords slid into the roller and lead rail without fuss once the channels were cleaned, and the included pull strap and S-hooks made handling easier. Seams and bead stitching look even, and the gray fade print reads clean once tensioned. Weight feels substantial and sheds rain well. It reuses your existing roller and arms, so installation is a two-person job with ladders and patience. Color appears one-sided, which is typical. No tools needed beyond basic hand tools, but I still taped the edges while the material settled to keep alignment tidy.

We were in need of a new awning for our travel trailer and this one was close enough to the size. We have had no issues with it and it was easy to install by ourselves without having to take it to the dealership. Fit: The fit of this product is just about perfect. The only difference is its about 2' shorter than the original awning but you honestly cant tell the difference at all.

The last big rain caught me with our big awning extended. Well in the middle of the night it gave. Way and caused a tear along the area where the material connects to the roller. Couldn't belive. Y luck when I saw this listing for the replacement awning material! I ended up not replacing the awning material because the seller also included a patch!!!! And it was the perfect size to fix it. For this I gave a five star. It wasn't necessary to include it. And extended the life of my awning. That's going above and beyond expectation and deserves the fifth star. I'd recommend this item and this seller!!!!!
