This 16x20 heat press is built strong a very sturdy. Before you cut the zip tie push down on the handle until you hear it clamp down if you don't do this the handle will swing up fast and hard causing injuries if you are above the handle, I remembered one review stating that and was very correct the handle wasn't clamped down. The heat press is impressive came in great condition, I've owned a 16x24 Vevor and it kept tripping my circuit so I returned and kept using my 15x15 press. I was nervous plugging this one in and turning it on, to my surprise it didn't trip the circuit, I'm so happy I can use this one. The heat does take a little time. BTW I ran a heat temperature gun and in order to get close to 400 degrees Fahrenheit need to set it between 365 & 370, the gun stayed close to 400 and so I know when doing my sublimation or any type of pressing ill use 370 for sublimation and 270 for HTV since the HTV requires around 302 degrees Fahrenheit. I bought this press for my hoodies and do photo images on sublimation metal plates. This press is worth getting built strong but one thing I forgot to mention it didn't come with a handle for the bottom tray so I purchased square cabinet handles size 5 1/2 with a 5 inch center hole it cost less than $8. You'll need this handle to help when lifting the top plate when pressing is down because believe me it really unclamps fast and hard so holding the bottom while lifting the top makes it much safer and controlled. I do plan on purchasing another one or a bigger size like 24x32 to press larger sublimation photos on larger sublimation plates, since I plan to get a 24 inch printer I own 2 epsons Ecotank ET 15000 one set up for sublimation and the other with regular ink. The heat-up time is fast and consistent, and the digital controls make it super easy to set the right temperature and pressure for different projects. Wow, I did not expect for this press to be as great as it is considering the low price for a 16x20! It arrived quickly and perfectly packed. Now, be careful unboxing and opening it. It's very heavy (for me) and when I cut the zip tie to open the press it POPPED UP very fast and forcefully hitting my forearm but it's my own fault for not checking it out first. I did not give the 5th star bc the time and temp control is very low and directly behind the hot press making it a bit of a challenge adjusting the time and temperature. ... show more
