My dogs were digging DEEP holes and kicking up dirt, grass and mulch everywhere. This rake tackled each project with ease. I was able to use it without killing my back to rake the dirt back in and fill the holes completely without ripping up the grass or the rake getting tangled up in the grass. I was able to rake the mulch out of the yard and back around the tree with ease and the rake got most all of it out of the grass, again without grass or weeds getting caught up in the rake blades. It's firm but flexible enough to pull back without having to yank. This isn't a rake to use if you want to turn soil over or loosen soil up. I also used it to rake grass trimmings and didn't have to continuously stop and clear out the rake blades. I'm confident leaves wouldn't build up in the blades either. This is an exceptional product!

I elected to purchase this rake for my granddaughter who is three. There is no reason not to put her to work. (That is a joke, sort of). The toy rakes ran about the same cost & were plastic. This one is still light enough and sturdy to be used for other applications as well. I just used two of the segments to adjust for her height. It is well made and great for thatching, getting around bushes or the delicate plants in the garden.

It efficient but takes alot of work to get the job done. Other than that it's use is for doing small areas around my yard. Going to have to get something better in the near future if you're someone like me who has alot of land to look over.

This comes in several pieces and needs to be assembled. The metal rake works great. It's good for collecting the leaves or pine needles I have around my property. The rake stick is very long. It allows me to reach under the bushes to the wall. You can also take one part out to make it normal size but I'd be afraid I'd misplace it so it's just long. It would be great for tall people.
