My kids love it. It works great exactly for what it's intended for. This model can store a lot of songs. I am pretty happy with it this way.I don't have to give my kid a phone which I don't like doing so.This is a great alternative to that for them, just to listen to music. I really like this MP3 player. I have a ton of CDs that I ripped to mp3 files and all my old sort of decent ones bit the dust. This has so much more memory. You will love the player and the bluetooth capability. When you power it on for the first time, it begins a setup... first is language (seems like its got a bunch), then select main menu and 9 tiles folders appear (Music, Bluetooth, FM radio, pictures, eBook, settings, folder, recordings and tools.). Wish the actual screen was touch, but now Im used to using the arrow and enter button. It show 31681MB

The ads make it look like it displays album art. It does, but maybe it won't for you - it will only display it if it's 24-bit color, but Macs have 30+ - bit depth for "transparenct", so this device won't show it. I found this out from their awesome support team. EDIT Okay, after my initial rage-review, I have to add; Bluetooth connectivity seems to be good. Of all these inexpensive players, it DOES seem to have the best sound. It's either that or the device presets are more to my personal liking - prolly the latter. Also, it has the best fast/slower playback speed function of about five different inexpensive players.. changing the speed sounds very smooth. ...HOWEVER.... Most everything else about using it is not fun; The headphone jack is faulty and cuts out. The menu navigation is clumsy; too much emphasis on play/repeat/shuffling but NO SONG NAVIGATION. Display of 32-bit character file names is a mess. It reboots a lot... And crashes with decode errors; usually if you pause and restart after a minute or so. If it was more stable, I might have given it another star... The memory card surpisingly worked (I find they usually don't) - but is REALLY SLOWWWW.

The SD card does come with 30 gb; the rest is on the device storage (over 100gb). You have the options to set up folders for different playlists. The bluetooth works well with Bose headphones, no conection problems. The only problem, though minor, I guess, would be the 'shuffle' option often repeats the same songs every other couple times. Every 2 or 3 skips will play the same songs; not a deal breaker, just a tad annoying to have to keep turning on the screen and look for a song, and then the next song repeated within the next 4 skips. Overall, it's 30 some dollars, not a bad investment.

Very impressed with the quality of this MP3 player. Sharp display and vibrant screen. Lots of memory and long battery and built in speaker. Do yourself a favor though and buy a quality pair of earbuds as the included ones are junk.
