We remodeled our master bath and the contractor told us we needed to vent the room better or use a dehumidifier because all the steam, since we both shower, was part of our problem before and it would continue. After trying a few things I went with a dehumidifier and got this model. It is very easy operate and we turn it on in the morning when getting ready and just set the timer so it turns off after a couple hours. It works really well and usually by the time I am getting dressed you can't feel any humidity in the room, which is nice. We first ran it and manually emptied it when we would get home, or after a couple days but I was worried it might get moldy or slimy over time so we decided to put it in the tub, which we don't use, and just let it auto drain right into the tub drain. Very pleased with how this operates and how effective it is for our needs.
