While trying to assemble it the whole front panel detached from the unit making it fully unusable. I would have returned it if I hadn’t waited too long to put it together. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 it looked like the glue failed.

This little fireplace heater was as described, simple, no remote, heat & light have separate switches but both are simply on or off. I was prepared for some disappointment at this price point, but was surprised at how much I am enjoying this little device and how well it warms my work area. To compensate the lack of a remote control, I used an Alexa-compatible plug and can turn it on or off easily with my voice. Of course it doesn't compete with higher end models with remotes, color combos and thermostats, but the reviews often suggest these often fail to deliver and in any event I am not one for purple flames. This one promises little and exceeds expectations, adding some atmosphere and heat which meets my needs quite well. I noted a little "hot metal" type odor on first use which I have experienced with nearly every heater I have ever owned, but this faded in a few minutes. Appreciate that the plug is grounded. I recommend this for those seeking a small space heater with a little extra ambiance at a good price.

I purchased this small 16" freestanding heater to set on a wall unit shelf to provide a copy atmosphere in my room. If I need to use the heater, I will remove it from the shelf and set it on the floor. It was easy to put together only needing a Phillips screwdriver to attach the feet and remove the glass to distribute the beautiful rocks.

This 16" Small Freestanding Electric Fireplace Heater is beautiful and very well built. The unit itself is heavy-duty and feels solid, not cheap or flimsy at all. Aesthetically, it’s easily a 5-star product — the realistic flame effect looks great and adds a cozy, high-end touch to the room. That said, there are some significant downsides that brought my rating down. The biggest issue is that the heat output cannot be adjusted, which limits its practicality as a heater. You’re essentially stuck with one heat setting, which may not work for all spaces or preferences. Another major disappointment was the condition it arrived in. My unit clearly appeared used and had visible damage — the front frame was bent, and it looks like someone may have tried to pry the glass off before. This was unacceptable for a product sold as new and really affected my overall experience. In summary: ✔️ Excellent appearance ✔️ Solid, heavy-duty construction ❌ No adjustable heat settings ❌ Arrived damaged and appeared used If aesthetics are your top priority, you may love it. But between the lack of heat control and the condition it arrived in, I can only give this product 2 stars overall.
