I bought this because I used to use the roller pizza cutter. The problem with that is that it smushes the toppings and spoils the pizza slices honestly. It drags the cheese and toppings with it as it rolls and it is very sharp as well. So you can't use it on plastic cutting boards (esp with microplastics it is best to use wood boards or stone ones like granite topped which are best). This one has the right size to cut a 12" pizza and worked amazingly well. it simply rolls over the pizza and you can make easy great pizza cuts. The quality is fantastic and the blade isn't sharp so it is safe for kids to use too. The unit stows easily and cleans easily too.
