After weeks of struggling with my office rug bunching up and sliding around under my rolling desk chair, I decided to give rug tape a try. I opted for a high-rated, double-sided adhesive rug tape, reputed for its strength and versatility on various surfaces, including the low-pile carpet in my office. The application process was straightforward. The tape came with clear instructions, and I applied it along the edges and a few strategic spots in the middle of the rug. I immediately noticed the difference. The rug stayed firmly in place, despite the constant back-and-forth rolling of my chair. One of my initial concerns was the residue that might be left on my carpet when I decide to remove or reposition the rug. However, the product claimed to be residue-free, and a few tests on a less visible area of my carpet confirmed this. The tape also did not damage the underside of my rug, which was a pleasant surprise.
