    • Sturdy bed frame with simple assembly.
I ordered this bed frame to go along with a mattress also purchased on Amazon to go into my college apartment. I was pretty skeptical about ordering a bed set online, as I have never done so before. My parents have never been a fan of ordering large, important, and expensive items online because they believe you should try before you buy. However, the price was great and the description fit exactly what I was looking for. The package came for the bed frame in a surprisingly small box for the size of a queen bed frame, however its weight definitely required two able-bodied people to bring it up to a second floor apartment. My father and I opened the box up to pieces broken up in sets put together by zip ties and plastic bags. There were directions and labels that made assembling the bed pretty simple. Of course, even with directions, assembling furniture can be somewhat frustrating. A little bit into the process we realized that a drill would drastically speed up the process of fastening all of the screws for the outside of the frame. However, after the outer bars and legs of the frame were set up, installing the many bars that support the mattress in the middle was a breeze. There were no tools to be used for this part except a mallet to make sure the bars were all the way into their slots. The assembly took about 45 minutes total with two people helping out. As for the assembled bed, I have had zero issues. The mattress fits perfectly on top of the frame. The frame is also very sturdy. This was also my first time buying a mattress and frame set that does not require a traditional box spring, which I was also skeptical about at first. However, the frame is a perfect height off the ground, and does not need a box spring at all for comfort. The mattress does have a slight tendency to slide from side to side, but only if it is really jumped on. There are also some fasteners you can buy to stop this but I have not had enough of an issue to purchase them. Overall this bed frame is worth the money and surpassed my expectations. It is cheap in price, comfortable, sturdy, easy to assemble, and obviously comes right to your door. It has given me a great night of sleep for a couple months now and I have no reason to believe my opinion will change on it. ... show more

This bed was super easy to build. My 4 year old was able to help me build it alone and took maybe 45 minutes (Twin XL). We attached it to our king bed for a “family” bed and worked perfect. Feels sturdy!

This review is for arrival and construction. My bed arrived yesterday. The box is heavy so either have someone help with lifting or use a dolly/ hand truck. The contents were secure and fully protected and the hardware was individually packaged, which made it so much easier to do the job! For the main side legs pay attention because two of them are designed to connect a headboard. I didn't know this but it's a great addition since I've wanted to add one separately! Assembling by myself and taking my time, construction still only took about 30 minutes. TIPS: don't fully tighten screws until after fully assembled so you have wiggle room for minor adjustments. Also, i used one of the thin pads and a hammer to secure the cross bars. They can be a tight fit so save your hands. Finally, use the included crescent wrench to anchor nut while tightening screws with hex/ Allen wrench. Much easier! Since I've only had the frame for one night, i can't speak to long term hold up and sleep comfort, but the first night was great on my Casper Cali King! My dog (75lb American staffordshire) was up and down during the night and i noticed no noticeable shifting or movement. Overall i like the look. It's simple and sleek. There's enough room for under bed storage, including a nap space for my dog. The legs are rectangular instead of square which gives me greater peace of mind for secure sturdiness.
