This item was relatively easy to assemble and is very sturdy. No need for a box spring with this unless you already have one. Now that being said because is has no foot or headboard I would recommend it go against at least 1 wall because depending what the bottom of your mattress or box spring is made of it might slide right off. Also because of the frames height there is plenty of room underneath for storage.

I purchased this bed for my daughter. It was easy to put together and is very sturdy. The height of the bed from the floor allows for storage of larger items. No need for a boxspring. Great quality and would definitely recommend this bed frame.

Decently simple to put together except that some of the screws don’t go in properly. Once put together, it’s pretty sturdy. The only issue I have is our mattress slides around on the smooth metal. I like how high it sits so I can use under the bed for storage.

As described and happy with my purchase. I do not like the "middle" legs as i keep hitting my feet on them when walking around the bed, I know they are needed for middle support, that's the only downfall for me, other than that, this seems to be made very well, it's sturdy and quiet, no squeaking with movement. I like the height with "extra" space under the bed to store totes/ baskets. The only thing i would add is, it would have been a "10" if they included mattress guides for the top to hold mattress in place rather then have to purchase them separately. My mattress doesn't slide around unless you are leaning at it from the sides, like when making the bed, changing sheets.
