Why did you pick this product vs others?: The price was right and it has very good reviews so I thought I would give them a try. They went on easily and seem like they would work perfect. I have them installed, but I haven’t taken the tractor for a ride yet. I think they’ll work just fine though.

I was looking for front tire replacements for my Craftsman riding mowers and come across this set. Looked great and reviews were great as well. I'm not particularly happy with the hard plastic sleeve bushings, where I discovered other tire sets having the "oil infused" iron bushings. However, I greased them up and installed them, and they are working very good right now. Time will tell how long the hard plastic sleeve bushings last. This set has inner tubes installed and they came already aired up, but only 10 psi was all that was in them so I pumped them up to 27 psi which did the trick. Even though the ad says John Deer riders with some listed model numbers, they will fit Craftsman riders with the 3/4" front axel shafts. I deducted 1 star due to the use of the plastic bushings. ... show more

I ordered the 15x6.00-6 replacement tire and wheel for my Kenmore R1000. Although the mower originally calls for a 12x5.00-6 size, I opted for the larger wheels because I have a hilly backyard, and larger wheels provide better traction. The installation was straightforward, although I did need to make some modifications to the mower to fit these wheels. Once installed, my riding mower performed much better with the new wheels.
